:( I wanted a Brazilian Lenin. Oh well, a fascist run Brazil taking everything that went wrong with Nazi Germany and the Khmer Rouge and taking it up to eleven would make a great read.
I agree with Josip BROz Tito on this.

Also, as a teaser of what is coming, looks like I must suppress my dislike of overtly long wars in Vicky 2 again from the traumatizing seemingly endless wars with Krauts when I did the Krakow LP, because, a few months before the preparations for a new war with Kwanstain were ready, events happened that will make the war against the manboons a part of something much, much larger, and worse, dragged the Libertadores in the losing side:

2z4l354.jpg

British_Mark_I_male_tank_Somme_25_September_1916.jpg

The Entente: UK, Republic of Prussia(which got saved from accepting a humiliating defeat just in time by UK intervention), some German Minors and of course, Libertadores

The Allies: Kwanzania(soon), Austro-Hungarian Empire, France, Belgium, Netherlands and a single German minor.

Outcomes:

If Entente wins, Germany will be united as a Greater German Republic(Austria included) and socialism will have a major surge of popularity all over it due to the fact Libertadores will definitively have to intervene to ensure that because UKnistan will probably not send any significant forces to mainland Europe at all. Disregard the fact the party currently ruling the Libertadores isn't socialist, they are still at large seen as commies with the conservatives being "relative" and "too scared about the popularity setback to revert the socialist reforms" according to the Western Civilization Defense Squad, which also accuses the Brazilian conservative party of being "closet LIBERALS", specially because of the fact they support Full Citizenship. This victory will be a double-edged sword for them though, because it will also rile up all the ethnic groups conquered by Austria and Prussia, and lead to the formation by event of the Republics of Poland(minus what the damn Russians control of it), Czechoslovakia, Hungary and so on. And fuck waging wars after wars because of warscore limit... this will likely last an entire decade, but if the Entente achieves total victory, Kwanzania will be fully driven out of South America by event and be partitioned into Texas, Confederated States of Kwa, California Republic...

If the Allies win, I'll just let it happen without custom events, which means Prussia will probably lose Silesia and all German minors under their SOI. Of course, I mean "win" because they'll definitively lose the war in America, and then, although Kwa won't be partitioned, they'll still lose all they unjustly took through the acts of race and national traitors in South America.

Which will happen depends on the extent of the doomstacks in Europe. If they are like ridiculously massive I'll not bother at all because it would be too frustrating.

Unfortunately I'm a bit uninspired lately, but don't worry, I'm not into drying Ice while acting stereotypically.

didnt you say Prussia only had Sweden as ally?

One of the nifty things of POPDemand is that from the 20th century to the endgame, all wars between Great Powers are great wars, and any Great Power may intervene in favor of the losing side at any time. UK decided to intervene, Sweden decided to not support Prussia at all and focus their efforts in their still ongoing attempt to create an united Scandinavia. They already managed to take control of Denmark, somehow, but Norway is independent, so is Iceland.

Will there be some sort of Socialist International in your game?

The only "commies" in the game currently are Libertadores (democratic), United States of Central America(which is nothing but an autonomous extension of the Libertadores), the small German State of Oldenburg and Iceland, which is the weirdest of all socialist countries, as you'll see in this update.

Not much of a Socialist International right now.

If I manage to save Prussia though, then socialist Germany will definitively happen. And I have screenshots for 2 updates, so keep the comments flowing.

The beginning of a World War

Theme

31NR7.jpg

The industrialization of the Libertadores continues to happen in an intense pace, specially in the capital of Porto Alegre, now one of the five largest cities of America, rivalling New York as the cultural symbol of the continent, as the antithesis of the Manboon way of life, for due to the socialist policies the vile slums, a mark of all large cities, have been eradicated from the city, for housing was near completely collectivized during the decades of the Colorado Party rule, and fearing the loss of their popularity, the Republicans did not take a reactionary stance of reverting these policies so far.

AFrJV.jpg

A great diplomatic achievement for the Libertadores, which would secure supplies of most vital resources for their industries as long as it withstood the likely reaction of competing powers, well aware of the critical importance of having China under their influence.

C9Czi.jpg

A new philosophy was developed in the country, and now, the attentions, as the world was slowly being engulfed by war, were all focused on ensuring the Libertadores army would have state-of-art strategy, tactics, training and technology.

mzmAj.jpg

Although it would be of little use once the inevitable continuation of the Great American War happens, this key alliance would definitively dissuade the Kwans of trying anything. The Qing Empire has one of the largest armies of the world, even if backwards, they could still prove themselves devastating against all those who dare to defy China's interests.

2D0Ek.jpg

Within the chaotic battlefields in Germany for the future of the German people, a small nation stood silently. The People's Republic of Oldenburg, the only communist German State, denounced the war as nothing but the bourgeois and powerful people using the poor as fodder to be sacrificed in the name of their greed... which is pretty true actually.

AROMQ.jpg

As the year of 1904 was ending, the armies of the Libertadores marched towards North America, for the truce of the imperialists is over, but they are not yet completely ready for a new war against Kwanzania. They must deploy all of their forces as close to the heart of their land first. It is a matter of honor now to ensure the independence of South America against Yankee imperialism, regardless of the ideology of the Libertadores ruling party. Of course, diplomatic talks are being considered, now that the radicals have lost the battle in the ballots, perhaps the Kwa' would be more willing to not desire another slaughter of millions of their kind.

8LsoF.jpg

Congresso_Integralista_1935.jpg

In 1905, The Brazilian Slaughter. finally concluded the formation of the Integralist Party, consolidating the fascist ideology into a powerful force for the next elections, which was not good at all for the socialist cause, specially in these turbulent times. It was the popularity of The Brazilian Slaughter. the primary reason the Integralists became so popular, specially in Northeast and Northern Brazil, the birthplace of The Brazilian Slaughter, which is featured by its interesting combination of Russians, Blacks, Portuguese and Native descent people.

uXuhn.jpg

As if the transformation of Integralism into a completely organized political party wasn't enough bad news, right in the month of February the United Kingdom, which intervened to support the Republic of Prussia, ironically, against the reactionary forces of France and of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, called the Libertadores to arms. The Republican government knew that this was a war that would not be particularly popular at home, except for one detail: Austria-Hungary is an ally of the United States, and thus, rapidly, the propaganda machine began to focus on this fact above all others involving this conflict, implying that to fight against Amerikwan imperialism, they will inevitably clash with all those which directly support it and thus such war is inevitable and necessary to secure the freedom for South America against imperialism.

The Libertadores thus joined the Great War, which later would also be known as the First World War.

07ugB.jpg

On the side which as currently losing, for Prussia has fallen, yet the remnants of their army which fled westwards by the Baltic Sea, guarded by the British and Prussian fleets, and their government-in-exile currently at London, swore they would never surrender, and would continue fighting together with their allies, even now that almost the entirety of their country is in enemy hands.

And likely, no Prussians in occupied lands accepted to negotiate the formation of a humiliating puppet regime either... would the same seemingly endless determination and hope of victory in spite of such devastating defeat have happened were the roles swapped and France on the losing side?

Probably not... considering the French.

rbTNI.jpg

EPD9k.jpg

The Libertadores Ivory Coast armies marched to begin the occupations of French Colonies, which was the first move of the Confederation against the reactionary monarchy of France, meanwhile, forces were on the move to begin the invasions of French Guyana and Suriname, train-filled soldiers crossing through the Amazon Rainforest as fast as running jaguars. The mostly Brazilian soldiers would initially fight their old rivals in the most deadly battlefield possible other than large cities: in the jungles of South America and Africa.

GGucZ.jpg

For now, things seemed quiet over Madagascar, and the British fleet was vastly superior to the French fleet, while Austria-Hungary naturally had no real navy, like the Libertadores.

TDlUW.jpg

The British Army is massive, but that will be useless if they spend most of the war sitting in military bases over the British Isles.

Vm4Sq.jpg

Many other countries might yet get involved in this conflict, and in some cases, some have treaties with both sides, making the future of this Great War even more uncertain. Russia has an alliance with Prussia, but didn't intervene yet, exactly like Sweden. Their intervention would definitively tip the balance of the war against the Entente, specially because that way, they would provide military access to the massive legions of the Qing Empire, which is allied to the United Kingdom but not directly involved in the conflict yet.

d4q7u.jpg

Propaganda begin to soar, proclaiming that the Final War is now, and soon the final liberation of South America shall begin. Volunteers are called to arms, to defend the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking peoples of America against the Gringos and secure their freedom for all time. The implications of the United States joining the Entente are far greater however. Should the inevitable conflict become not a separate war, it means Kwanzania would most likely become the new leader of the Entente, and shift the entire fate of this First World War from the battlefields of Europe to the battlefields of South America.

jBJ3w.jpg

The results of this call to arms were clear. Almost two million (1,722,000 more specifically) were ready to fight if needed, but for now, the Libertadores, like in the previous conflict, would stick to their standing and professional army, and only deploy the civilian conscripts and volunteers as a last resort. Naturally, the wages of all military personell took an increase, not that they weren't above the world average already before, but because they knew they would need everything. This is not just another war, this is the Great War, this is a Total War, a war to the bitter end. No more half-finished businesses, only total victory or total defeat shall be acceptable.

If fully mobilized and after training the maximum possible standing army, the Libertadores would be capable of deploying a total army numbering nearly 3 million soldiers (2,799,000), but these numbers were still small compared to what Kwanstain could deploy, meaning that in the end, they must fight better and not through attrition, if they hope to win.

The world is changing. China joined the ranks of the West, and is rapidly rising, and provided it doesn't fall apart due to regionalism and cliques, it won't take long for them to join the ranks of the Great Powers. But with great industrialization comes great unemployment in countries as densely populated as China, and with great unemployment came even greater migrations to the New World. A new wave of immigrants is arriving in the Libertadores, a massive, gigantic yellow wave that is causing a dramatic rise of the populations of Brazil, Uruguay and Bolivia plus the popularization of Chinese Food. Never in the history of any of the three countries so many immigrants arrived. It is the fact the Republican Party supports Full Citizenship that probably drove the sheer majority of AZNs to the Libertadores.

Does this mean incline or decline? Time will tell.

iBhMm.jpg

Kongo deserves to be mentioned in World History for being the only country in the entire world ruled by the Black equivalent of Ludwig Von Mises, Ayn Rand, Ron Paul etc in another timeline, yes... ruled by Lolbertarians, Objectivists Anarcho-Capitalists and alike, of all possible places, Kinshasa in Kongo. The facts speak for themselves. More impressive however is for such small country to have successfully westernized and remained independent through the imperialism of late 19th century...

CAN KONGO ALSO INTO SPACE?

:M

GeFO8.jpg

The last Olympics for many years, depending on how long this Great War last, ends with a great performance for the Libertadores, something that always helps during these trying times.

8MzDI.jpg

As the Libertadores march towards the jungles of the Guyanas to fight against the Dutch sodomites and frogs, Dai Nam joined the war with the goal of marching to Saigon and freeing their brothers from French imperialism. And thus the conflict now clearly spanned over all the continents of the world. Even Ethiopia joined, to take back what Austrian imperialism stole from them. Very few places on the globe are not touched by this war.

SMHRf.jpg

Democratic socialism as a long-lasting form of government is not an exclusivity of the Libertadores anymore. As Sweden conquered Denmark through either diplomacy or war, possibly as part of a greater ideal of uniting all the Vikings under Scandinavia, Iceland achieved full independence as a Constitutional Monarchy with an elected prime minister, and it just happened for the first elections to end with the Socialist Party successful, as socialism became very strong among the Icelanders, and it didn't take long for the entire economy of the country to be collectivized, including even royal property, with an ambiguous consent of the monarch. And thus Iceland is the first monarchy of the world with a socialist government and a centrally planned economy... instead of BEST KOREA.

7tcZn.jpg

By the end of April 1905, Russia remained neutral, unfortunately. Russian intervention could possible turn the tides of the war... or not, but it would be very, very helpful now, specially because the Qing Empire just joined the war together with the Allies. If not for the massive distances between Far East Asia and Europe, the Qing armies could curbstomp those Austrian reactionaries through sheer numbers.

Ot5ka.jpg

And... a review of the Libertadores economy. It didn't take long for electricity, which is rapidly becoming one of the most important commodities of the world, to become the primary export product of the Libertadores, as their power plants, through a massive infrastructure of power lines, supply Paraguay, Colombia, United States of Central America and even Mexico, which all import most of their electricity from the Libertadores.

gPlvN.jpg

Even before the Libertadores engaged into any major battle, in what many suspected to be the result of inflitrated Kwanzanian spies riling up pacifist movements, people began to demonstrate weariness about this Great War in spite of how they haven't even started their role in the conflict for real and of how nobody has been mobilized yet. Or perhaps, this was more likely the result of the previous, devastating war against Kwanzania, where the blockades caused much difficulty to the people. Yet, war is inevitable. It has always been since the day the ideal of the Libertadores was proclaimed.

With the government and remaining forces in exile, others in Prussia have risen to arms to fight against the Austrian and French occupation, others whose agendas may not be particularly altruistic or the best thing possible for Prussia should they succeed. The young National Socialist Workers Party of Germany (NSDAP) organized a great uprising of National-Socialists, as they call their brand of fascism, to defend their fatherland, and also proclaimed that the French and Austrians were nothing but puppets of JEWS, and that the real enemies of the Prussians were such Jews, using the Frogs as part of a far-fetched and contrived conspiracy to take over the world and enslave all goyim. Jews however were not the only targets of this movement. Gypsies, faggots, socialists of any kind, Liberals, LIBRULS(Social Liberals) and many others were equally despised by their immense rhetoric of hate, and thus it was obvious these genocidal madmen could not be allowed the glory of proclaiming themselves liberators of Prussia.

RGZy3.jpg

It was in the 12th of July that the first battle against the frogs happened. Last time both sides were involved in a war, while the Libertadores were only the humble but rising power of the Riograndense Republic, the Frenchies were humiliated in battle, but now, much might have changed, and the French Army might be far better equipped... but actually, they seemingly forgot to take notes from the war the Libertadores recently fought against Kwanzania during the turn of the century, and forgot the importance of having protection against chemical weapons like ITZ... and this vulnerability would naturally give a major advantage to the Libertadores.

fa7S8.jpg

In 18th of July of 1905 the Libertadores decided to make an attempt for the self-determination of all South American peoples through diplomatic means, in the hopes another massive war against Kwa' could be avoided now that they no longer have the "but it is to stop the commies!" pretext.

MbUk1.jpg

Disappointly, this time, they argued "we know the fascists are drastically rising in popularity, we will not cede anything to the black menace either now that the red menace is weaker", all bullshit of imperialist pigs naturally. After realizing diplomacy with manboons is as effective as diplomacy with rats, the last words of the infuriated Brazilian diplomat were gloomy, scathing, harsh, cynical, but truthful:

"Congratulations! You have signed the death sentence of millions of Americans, for a second time that will come sooner or later. We hoped you were less sociopathic and selfish, but we were wrong... we are closing our embassy for once, as obviously it is just a decoration without purpose here."

ksFv9.jpg

The first French experience with ITZ in Africa was disastrous. They suffered far disproportionate casualties, and were almost completely wiped out, as the Libertadores forces carried on in pursuit to destroy this entire army.

OCaeG.jpg

In spite of the enemies so far having suffered far more disproportionate casualties, in spite of no blockades happening, pacifist and isolationist groups continued to lobby against the war, and there was a growing feeling that the Libertadores had no place in this war, that the authoritarian communist government of Oldenburg so rightfully called "a dispute among the bourgeois and oligarchs sacrificing each poor workers for the sake of their greed." The socialists were most tantamount about it: they claimed that the only war that is relevant to the interests of the Libertadores is the war to free South America, as if what was happening in French Guyana and Suriname wasn't part of freeing South America already... as if Kwa' wasn't an ally of Austria which could join this at any moment.

The worst of this was among the immigrants and foreigners, who were growingly militant due to this feeling against the war. Many suspected again this was the work of Amerikwan spies and infiltrators, but no proof was ever found of this not being a grassroots anti-war movement but a puppet pulled by crafty spies.

st5Je.jpg

In 17th of August the first French territories fell under Libertadores control in Africa, which was, in all due honesty, a sideshow to the real meat of this Great War over Europe, although for now things were mostly quiet in the European Front, the British still having not launched any major amphibious invasion, and the fascists easily crushed by the massive Austrian and French armies in Prussia. Other resistance movements however, continued to operate underground, and the determination and courage of such Prussians, regardless of ideology, was legendary, the tales of the Prussian Resistance against the French and Austrians would certainly have the worth of inspiring many great modern epics. The Republic of Prussia would not fall against the forces of reaction, the government-in-exile recently proclaimed, together with an almost dreamlike call for their original ideal: uniting the German people under the same ideals behind the French Revolution, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity, and the irony was not lost to the Prussians considering the current circumstances.

BwhA3.jpg

Speaking of Revolutions, China went through a relatively peaceful revolution after the last Qing emperor ended dying without a heir, and the Republic of China was thus proclaimed, against the wishes of the reactionaries behind the old regime, who were swept aside by their unpopularity and illegitimacy which has been on the rise since the Qing lost the Throne of Heaven. The Republic of China decided to continue their involvement in the Great War, and most importantly, they agreed to directly ally with the Libertadores as well.

China is now the fourth greatest country of the world in prestige, industry, and specially, military might. Their status as a Great Power is just not formalized yet, but soon it shall be. Their campaign in Southeast Asia has been an astounding success, and apparently, they formed a quite capable navy too, more than enough to crush the Dutch East Indies fleet. The Chinese government declared that their objective in Asia is to fight for the self-determination of the many peoples currently oppressed by the Dutch, and for that goal, they already began conquering much of the Dutch colonies, including Java, almost without opposition, as their massive armies could easily raise their flag over Amsterdam if they had the logistical capabilities to deploy their men there. For now, The Republic of China has succeeded in keeping the many ethnic Cliques and would-be warlords under control, perhaps because of the war serving as a powerful uniting factor for all their citizens, or perhaps because they so far managed to escape the pitfalls of a young republic turning into a dictatorship.

TwpcM.jpg

Do I really need to explain to any Codexer the many meanings of "The Decline of the West?" The original meaning of it is just written there, and the modern meaning we all know and hate already. In a more specific case, according to some, it was then that the long downward spiral of Kwanzania becoming what it currently is actually happened.

:kwanzania: :patriot:

:decline:

PddGS.jpg

The Serbians may "lose" at first, but they truly have the Wisdom of the Eagle for getting involved in this war. Because China, UK and Libertadores are no joke, and Russia may join the Allies too against the Entente. This might end turning Serbia from a rump state to a GREATTST COUNTREY yet in spite of the lack of Tupac fast rap magic. On the other hand, Serbia joining on the same side of the Libertadores immediately alienated the Ottoman Empire, which had some treaties with UK, but also has treaties with the other side... but if they actually challenge some of the greattst countreys of the world, then it might come to a point where the Libertadores will have to:

REMOVE KEBAB FROM THE PREMISES

SZDOK.jpg

Just like they succeeded at REMOVE FROG in Accra, annihilating an entire French Army in West Africa which hoped to crush the small British Brigade there, but the Brits held bravely until the arrived of the Libertadores reinforcements that turned completely the tide of the battle and drove all Frenchies to either death or surrender through ITZ. It's up to you to imagine how many of the casualties were surrenders and how many were deaths.

abSst.jpg

The invention of the first Punch Clock, immediately installed in what was left of the private industries in the Libertadores, caused an uproar among the unions, which protested on how it would "enhance exploitation of the workers", and have become far more vocal since the conservatives managed to win the elections in spite of decades of socialist rule. In response, due to how prosperous the economy of the Confederation currently was, the conservatives agreed with the socialists for the sake of reducing the tensions, and the reduction of the maximum work hours to the somewhat more reasonable 12 hours per day was approved.

1XjxC.jpg

Always believing in what would in the future become the "Firepower Doctrine", the Libertadores military was ahead of their time when they first dismissed cavalry as mostly obsolete and organized their army with massed artillery. Their great, disproportionate victories have more than proved the wisdom in this, but artillery technology evolved in this turn of the century, specially with the invention of the incredibly powerful new and portable infantry mortars, and the refinement of the concept of indirect fire, thus an upgrade was about time.

kd8bb.jpg

The rest of the French forces trying to occupy some British territory was nearly completely exterminated, and thus they pursued their remnants northwards.

RxFpk.jpg

Meanwhile, the Libertadores armies were gathering to completely occupy the enemy Guyanas, and about ready to begin it. The war has been greatly a combination of success after success so far in the Libertadores side, but it has only started.

OQIoU.jpg

And a decisive and most likely very difficult battle has just begun over Kumasi. The Brazilian Commander was well aware of the incoming reinforcements, and stressed it was critical for them to drive the remnants of that French army into retreat so they could fortify in Kumasi and defend it against the other French Army which outnumbered them at about 1.5:1. The French have proven to be well equipped, except for lacking defenses against chemical weapons, and the battles over the deadly jungles of Africa have been hard fought in spite of ITZ. Kumasi would either end as an astounding victory, or as a bloodbath capable of wiping out most of the Libertadores forces in Africa.

Meanwhile, all is quiet on the European Front...

TO BE CONTINUED.

Battle of Kumasi, the beginning of a Lost Generation

Passchendaele

c1rRk.jpg

Fortunately, the Continental African Forces of the Libertadores secured their ground in Kumasi before the massive reinforcements arrived. During the days before enemy arrival, they dug trenches as deep and far as they could, establishing major defensive positions for the coming battle, preparing the shells loaded with ITZ for another slaughter.

xv7Hj.jpg

They didn't have much time to establish truly extensive defenses, but once ITZ began to cover the air of the jungle and the hidden machineguns revealed themselves by slaughtering the advancing columns of French soldiers, the scenario was set for what would become the longest and bloodiest battle ever fought in Africa.

Ke5Me.jpg

vickers-machine-gun-crew-with-gas-mask.jpg

It already lasted over one month, in part because the enemy forces finally took countermeasures against the deadly ITZ, in part because of the brutal combination of trench and jungle warfare. French and Libertadores forces exchanged deadly barrages of artillery, and the French had a lucky breakthrough at one moment that endangered the entire front as they took control of one of their trenches. In response, a massed counter-attack was launched to retake the trench, with predictable results as the French machineguns delivered one The Brazilian Slaughter, and more thousands died for a few miles of land. Even as both sides became increasingly depleted, with almost fifty thousand wounded and dead, the battle was far from over.

6cPPM.jpg

800px-spioenkop1.jpg

Three months of jungle warfare with neither side achieving any decisive breakthrough in spite of the French having suffered greater losses on overall to the point they were becoming outnumbered. The corpses littered the jungle, which became a wasteland as well, much of the thick vegetation torn apart by hundreds of thousands of artillery shells. It was along such a traumatic experience that more bad news came from the reshuffling of the Upper House. Although growing in a slower rate, the popularity of fascism didn't stop rising, and it was solidly now the ideology of the majority of the people of the Libertadores, which means a dark future may yet come to this young Democratic Confederation.

h7w5w.jpg

In contrast with the seemingly unending bloodbath at Kumasi, progress was happening in South America, the few French forces there driven out of the coast and about to be wiped.

18Ia3.jpg

This served well the conservative agenda against the socialists. For such a mistake to have been made... this would delay any plans to begin an offensive against Kwanzania, naturally. Ships are on the way to pick up the Libertadores Forces in Tierra del Fuego.

LEk01.jpg

Were on the way, before most of the Libertadores transport ships were destroyed by Austro-Hungarian forces in the Atlantic. Clearly the British are very far from achieving anything close to naval supremacy in spite of their mighty Navy, and thus, it is confirmed indeed, that the men who a two thirds of their friends die in Kumasi are on their own. It is simply not safe to send more reinforcements to Africa.

wRLxS.jpg

Some Doomsayers saw the San Francisco Earthquake as more than a mere natural disaster. They believed it was an omen of something much worse than an Earthquake that was about to come to Amerikwa. Ironic considering their government brought ITZ upon themselves. Had they acted with some minimum of decency and respect to national sovereignty, the Libertadores would never seek alliances outside of America, which in turn was responsible for drastically rising the scale of the conflict on the way... yet Kwanzania remains uninvolved, for now.

yeL4t.jpg

The French arrogantly attacked a twelve thousand strong force in Cayenne, which held them off with ITZ until the reinforcements arrived. The final result of this was a decisive, crushing victory for the Confederation, but... this victory would not erase the tragedy of the Battle of Kumasi, which even now continued to rage on, for countless months already.

magAa.jpg

The remnants of the two forces continue to battle across the scorched wasteland covered with the bodies of the dead and dying, the Libertadores unable to send reinforcements due to the fact they cannot risk the lives of their soldiers to Davy Jones' Locker and the French seemingly uninterested in sending reinforcements or too occuppied in equally bloody, devastating and traumatizing battles where thousands of lives were sacrifices for a few miles of trenches

tGcxQ.jpg

Yet, as they have been reduced to a couple of thousand men, the French began to take heavier losses, but they insisted, despite the fact they lost over 90% of their fellow soldiers, they refused to give up, while the Libertadores forces were equally exhausted, and the loss of so many close people for a military used to battles with immensely disproportionate casualty figures... not that they didn't have to endure tragedy before, losing buddies is part of the war, but never before they have lost so many of their buddies, and fought for so long without respite and without any sign victory was even close.

Jr0fb.jpg

Not even literacy can turn this battle is less of a national tragedy, but this was only the first of many unfortunate events that would happen against the Libertadores in this Great War.

PjM3u.jpg

The "Great Betrayal" shook the Confederation, as the counter-revolutionary forces in Colombia, in spite of being under the Libertadores Sphere of Influence, managed to worm a way out of it by acting with a dishonor only not as great as that of the Quislings who sold out the sovereignty of their countries and of their peoples to the United States. Immediately upon hearing these news, the Prime Minister swore that the traitors will pay for this. Clearly, this great treason is also a great opportunity to take a heavy-handed approach towards the integration of Colombia into the Libertadores. Once they fall apart, as they will for their army is vastly inferior, there will be no acceptable deal other than their complete annexation.

aHbQa.jpg

All Libertadores forces in Amazaonia are being redeployed to rapidly crush the traitors.

UJe4C.jpg

June of 1906 was a month marked by the still ongoing slaughter of Kumasi, and by the entrance of the Ottoman Empire in the Entente. Colombian backstabbers and worst turk idiots together shall be removed from the premises!

Interestingly, to prevent its collapse, the Turks granted extensive autonomy to large parts of their Empire, including with the establishment of the arab-ruled Palestine, which was a gigantic finger towards a fringe movement known as Zionism, which wanted to recreate the Jewish State of Israel and remove goy from the premises, and with this, the Turks have endorsed openly the Palestinian nation.

k3qAU.jpg

images.jpg

In 21th of June of 1906, after almost 10 months of near uninterrupted slaughter, the Libertadores forces lost their last trench due to running out of ammo first than their enemies running out of corpses in their final assault, and the French "won", if this battle can be called something worth winning. In the end, Kumasi was a battle the French fought out of pride, rather than for any major strategic purpose, and the Libertadores in the hopes they could completely wipe out that French Army. Neither side achieved any major victory or strategic gain from this, as almost one hundred thousand lives from both sides were sacrificed... for nothing. The extent of deaths was exemplified from how many front-line infantry soldiers survived this battle in the Libertadores side:

23,126 infantrymen fought... only 153 survived.

Some of the survivors retreated towards the wrong direction, and the High Command had only one choice to give them a chance of surviving their way back home. They were completely relieved of duty, and ordered to find clothing to replace their uniforms, hide and head towards safety in the Libertadores Ivory Coast.

Most of them never made it back to South America.

This is worse than Das Boot's ending

These were the survivors of the Battle of Kumasi by large, with a few reinforcements already arriving to their near completely depleted brigades. Those who survived became valuable veterans who could serve to drill these units into the best brigades of the Libertadores by and far, if they don't kill themselves due to the incurable trauma experience such an almost 10 months long scarred their souls with forever.

Quantum Theory? I say scienmajifics! Like that thing Cleve was talking about.

The enemy Guyanas are fully under control, and the armies in this region are now on the way to deal with the treacheroes Colombians.

The occupation of Prussia is endangered every time by fascistic patriots, no matter how many of them fell. The Prussians will definitively not stay idle while their nation is ravaged by conquerors. If these rebels weren't so misguided, they'd have more foreign support.

Sweden continues neutral in the Great War, having problems of their own. Some of the locals are takiing the idea of an united Scandinavia very enthusiastically.

The Birth Rate of the Libertadores went down a little, not that it matters considering the still ongoing CHINA RUSH KEKEKE of immigrants.

As Colombia begins to fall apart, the Confederation makes their intentions clear about the price their government must pay for their shameless betrayal. This is more than just, considering the circumstances.

ztSRW.jpg

Anti-war protests have soared dramatically after the Battle of Kumasi, endangering the stability of the Libertadores. In the hopes doing so would calm down the situation a little, the legal maximum daily work hours were reduced from 12 to 10, but militancy continued high.

r6Y0z.jpg

The Colombian forces were understimated. Their technology isn't that backwards, and this fiasco demonstrated it in a very sorrowful way for the soldiers of the Libertadores, as their offensive was mowed down by machineguns in their trenches. The lack of an unit truly capable of offense since the obsolescence of cavalry has been the primary cause for this, and so far, ideas haven't yet come to practicality when it comes to modern technologies assuming the roles heavy and light cavalry had in the past

xS9ip.jpg

Confident by their initial victory, the Colombians pursued the retreating attackers, only to end in the same situation of those they now pursued. Yet the battle was far from one-sided, they succeeding at delivering a considerable death toll against the Confederation forces in spite of ITZ.

Finally, a long needed refinement in artillery was concluded, which hopefully would ensure less bloody battles from now on.

It was when almost half of the Colombian army engaged a small Libertadores force that they would realize how hopeless their situation was. Their massed assaults were victories only for the vultures and carrion eaters across the battlefield, and despite outnumbered at almost 4:1, the defenders held their ground valiantly, relying on their deep trenches and devastating weapons to deliver gigantic losses on their attackers.

5XOvK.jpg

The victory against the traitors was at this point only a matter of time.

QSED3.jpg

Specially now that ANZAC also came in to put these traitors in their place. They had some luck from a mistake the Libertadores did only first, by underestimating their army technology and capabilities, but after it became clear they have made a mistake, the Confederation quickly reacted, luring their forces to seemingly easy battles only for them to become slaughterhouses.

To make the point clearer, thirty thousand men shall march on the streets of Bogota.

It was only by April of 1907 that signs were indicating that in the end, the Battle of Kumasi was not as futile as once thought. The French began to suffer in Africa, to gradually lose territory and seemingly fail to take it back. That large army that was almost completely wiped out seems to be sorely missing. Not that this will dimish the tragedy of that meatgrinder.

With most of the East Indies occupied by China and the British fleet blockading all Dutch harbors, the sodomites of the Netherlands had no choice but to agree to an total surrender and capitulation, upon which they were forced to sign humiliating and crippling war reparations and disarmament treaties. China was not particularly amused at the outcome, because the Dutch colonies in Southeast Asia were spared from the list of demands.

The news of the end of the Dutch participation in the war would have been good, were it not for the news of a newcomer to the conflict that completely overshadowed the news about the Netherlands.

In the month of April of 1907, the First World War has changed. No longer the final outcome of the conflict shall be decided in Europe, but in America, between the Libertadores and Kwa', for the United States not only intervened in favor of the Entente, but also assumed the leadership of the alliance, meaning that if they collapse, the rest of the Entente won't take long to follow the leader. With Colombia still not fully subjugated, this could end very, very complicated, but the Libertadores prepared themselves for decades for the continuation of the war for the liberation of South America.

All eyes now look upon the New World, where a war spanning near its entirety shall decide the future of the Old....

Here is the strategic situation when US joined the Entente:

Y2ZFD.jpg

The Libertadores kept a large force in the borders with the US, ready to begin an invasion if necessary. Now it is the time for them to prove themselves sufficient to spearhead a strike at the very heart of Yankee Imperialism.

I9DV3.jpg

Colombia still fights, but their demise is at this point inevitable. They are outnumbered and outmatched in every possible way.

Deployments of the Libertadores in the North.

And in the south, where they march towards Entre Rios, which shall be demanded from Kwanstain for sure once the war takes positive outcomes

Africa... Ethiopia humiliated Austria-hungary, to put it briefly.

And of course, Europe ,where Prussian Fascists continue to struggle futilely against a large enemy force, and the British sent a large expeditionary force, which hopefully is going to work.

I'm voting for a Socialist victory. If a crazy dictatorship must win then let it be a Stalinist one.

Hey Cassidy, how can Fascism be called fascism if the time period predates Mussolini? Same thing with the Bolsheviks and if you knew what the name meant it makes even less sense.

commie, USSA, how can i resist?
If anybody here played a commie country in Vicky 2, how many countries did you spread the revolution to? I managed Canada, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, and Uruguay. Brazil was next in line but 1936 came sooner than I thought.
