Medicine is finally fully researched for the benefit of the proletariat and was considered more important than steam power or industrialization. Because for the USSR, healthier people would have greater chances of becoming more intelligent instead of more consoletarded. Now, researches began to allow for every one of the glorious USSR cities to become a majestic metropolis, and give them a much greater edge over the rest of the world.

However... the niggers took the city... and they were primitive. The Army would not recover as long as they occupied the city, and it was not that damaged. So, trusting foolishly that Civilization III is a game that adheres to realism, logic, and common sense, an army of 3 cavalry units armed with modern rifles attacks a lone unit of primitive horsemen. Screw defensive advantages because they outnumber the enemy at 3:1 and are technologically superior too.
Guess what happens? In any sane and realistic scenario the cavalry would totally defeat medieval cybernegro knights, but this is Civilization III:

The enemies now posed a serious threat, and although as a whole, the USSR also had victories, the situation was worsening in the multiple fronts they fought thanks to the incredible capability of entire armies being slaughtered by technologically inferior and outnumbered forces.

The massive French Caliphate horde approaches the city of Memphis. If Memphis fall, only one city will stand a chance of stopping them from carving a path through the heart of the USSR.

And another not so important but extremely symbollic victory happens! Cleveland is finally returned to the forces of ubermensch and incline, and freed from the eurofag manboons. The western front remains mostly in a standstill, although the Skyway Rage may yet break its inertia. However, the front where the most important battles would happen was not this one.
Meanwhile, while there are victories after victories in the Southeastern front, a decisive battle is about to begin in the Southern Front against France, who tried to go Napoleon on Russia again. skywaygrad stood as a bastion of resistance to the north. skywaygrad must not fall. Or the decline will swept through the entire planet.

The game is virtually won, Russia is multiple techs ahead of everyone else and an economic superpower nobody else can match, and now it reached that point known as micromanagement hell. Waging the war was a bad idea because of the shallowness of combat in Civ III dragging everything. I can barely post a handful of turns per update in the latest updates as you can notice. And ultimately, I'm no longer having fun with this game. It's a certain victory anyway, and from now on the game will become more and more repetitive until the Space Race cinematic. So I'm considering making a leap here.
tl;dr Do you mind if I jump straight to Alpha Centauri?

A brief history of the Union of Socialist Skyway Rage. And the first years in Alpha Centauri
The USSR was the first civilization to reach the industrial age. Upon their superpower status, and ideological belief of their duty to cleanse the world of the popamole, they have started what would become known as the 500-year war. It was the beggining of the end.
What began as a conflict over the struggle of elitist cunts against greedy Jew capitalists has escalated into a war which has decimated a million miles, and caused the entire genocide of the Japanese through nuclear annihilation. The Skyway and the Popamole have all but exhausted the resources of a planet in their struggle for domination. Both sides, crippled beyond repair, continued to battle over the ravaged Earth, their hatred fueled by over four thousand years of wars. For each of them, the only acceptable outcome of this conflict is the complete elimination of the other.
Until the last natural resources of Earth were on the verge of depletion. The USSR, planning ahead of time, began to construct a spacecraft to lead mankind to Alpha Centauri in 1450. Eventually it was ready, a fresh start, a new hope for mankind free of idiocy, of popamole, of Jews, of decline. Several years later, as the enemy fought both against the USSR and the collapse of its society due to the fact this war have all but killed Earth, a maiden voyage would begin:

For in the void of space, in a planet orbiting the distant Alpha Centauri system, they hoped for the Salvation of human race.
But traitors and flip-floppers along the Skyway Rage have accepted bribes to allow the decline to hop in this travel. A greedy black Jew called Nwabudike Morgan Tratemberg, who bought Jewctivsion-Blizzard and seeks to sell console shit in Alpha Centauri, a fanatical, annoying prick drawing the religious sheeple called Miriam Godwinson, Wyrmlord, converted from a libertarian to another UN/EU fag, Chairman Kim Jong Un, who was corrupted by the PS3 decline, a hippie bitch called Deirdre Skye with her ecofag legions, and a tranny who likes guns called Corazon Santiago.

Damn, the fact SMAC runs in 256 colors fucked up the screenshots but I can't bother playing the first turns again to take more SS. Next updates will have no problems, I hope.

Customized Random Maps are, like in most 4x games, the best ones. Only this time I decided to go with the exact opposite of what I did in CiV III because Naval combat makes things more interesting and the existence of big islands instead of a single continent makes expansion more challenging, thus I've chosen 70 - 90% water coverage. Other choices include abundant rainfall: lack of it tends to hurt the AI more than the player, few mindworms(same AFAIK) and weak erosion forces(more hills)
And the highest difficult level, of course.
No shitty victory modes. Also, blind research may sound cool but it actually removes strategic depth from the game by making a strategic decision turn into something more random. In my opinion. So that is all:

Many were scientists and part of the universities of the USSR. And thus, their scientific mindset would be key to understanding the way their new, colonial civilization would develop:
The University of Hatred. Where it took some real effort to get a PhD in Hatred, and so far, only skyway had one, as the god-Kaiserin of the University. The original spacecraft, however, was split into seven factions due to the flip-floppers and due to the fact the captain was found dead next to a Xbox 360. The decline was already inside, even before they started to rebuild anew.
The past of popamole shit must be forgotten, as now this is a new start. An homage to a notorious part of the original, non-popamolified and non-popcultureretardified Fallout. skyway thus made his first speech in the new world:
"Our strength is our quickness and our brutality. Genghis Khan had millions of women and children hunted down, raped and killed, deliberately and with a joyful heart. History sees in him only the great founder of States. What the weak popamole-loving, Muslim-sucking Libtard civilization alleges about me, does not matter. I have given the order, and will have everyone shot who utters but one desire of playing a console - the aim of the wars we shall fight will not consist in reaching certain geographical lines, but in our enemies' physical elimination. Thus, I shall, whenever necessary, put ready my Death's Head units, with the order to kill without pity or mercy all men, women, and children who are consoletards. Only thus will we gain the living space that we need and our thousand-year incline. Who still talks nowadays of the extermination of the Japanese?"
First to guess where this speech was adapted from earns 1 KKK
Because it is one of the two techs necessary to get a free ride through Secrets of the Human Brain, Social Psych is picked. However, the Hatred is strong in this civilization, thus they need something to vent off their frustrations, and as their populations grow, eventually two things will be crucial for their supremacy: The Virtual World and The Hunter-Seeker Algorithm. But that is for another time.
Is it ironic that the first scout expedition to a pod ends lucky enough that were this game not Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri I'd put a skyway Avatar and a rant on how such perceived false "Luck" is hand-holding in disguise? I never had this luck before in SMAC.
Four years have passed since the foundation of The Glow. The university of Hatred was growing steadily through these first years, facing no threat, for now. In an otherwise desolate are of this world, substantial mineral reserves were encountered, yet those arid wastelands were not optimal for settling, thus, the only way to follow was eastwards in the expansion.
The colony ship instead of finding a swarm of mindworms to rape it finds another huge streak of luck, in the form of free solar collectors around. This place on overall looked like an excellent place to start a city.
More extra resources found in an otherwise completely uninteresting region for establishing colonies. Maybe a sea city would be better to make use of these. But that is a long way to go.
Now they are close to discover the Secrets of the Human Brain, and perhaps find the key to understanding what turns even apparently smart people into the vile consoletards by making them flip-flop.
And with this, the University of Hatred was the first faction of Alpha Centauri to have a scientific breakthrough.
Plans for further expansion are already in the making.
As a tribute to one of the most important cities of Earth, the second colony is equally named skywaygrad, the first colony of the University of Hatred. The greedy Morgan Electronic Arts did the first one in the Planet.
And for now this is it. I hope I won't have to keep Windows at 256 colors to be able to take screenshots without fucking up colors, because according to Windows there is no 256 colors option. So there must be another solution to this issue.
