I'll load until I die. This is actually pretty cool. I remember when these games first came out - always meant to buy one but never did. My father loved them though.

What an unfortunate pairoff. Someone is going to be sore and sorry after 'assisting'.

Anyway, carry on with the war. CC3 has always been one of my favourites.

The Germans would have been more appropriate for this playthrough I would think. Lyric Suite would be an excellent candidate for the leadership of the Crusade against bolshevism.
I'd have voted for Cleve for either side. But KC will do.

Well, my original idea was to use codexers in Soviet-style human wave attacks. But the game just begun, if you'd like to switch to the Nazi side, it can be done. I'll add a poll.

No fucking way. Desperately trying to stop a Panzer III with a molotov cocktail is much more intense than driving a King Tiger around while blowing everything up with impunity. Death to the Hitlerites!

PS: If you do go for the despicable national socialist scum take the Fuger's Iron Cross main campaign. Or be a true ubermensch and download the GroB Deutschland mod. Hardcore.

Voted for continuing for glorious Motherland. SMIERT FASISTOM

Massive casualties and soviet herp-derp seems more fitting for the Codex. And more fun. Fun in DF way of course but still...

I guess the Soviet campaign will be more entertaining and heroic, and it does kinda represent the Hive Mind.

As I said, update will be on weekend, most likely Saturday. I just can't make it sooner.

K, I didn't know if they had a separate bunch for each unit type.

The Motherland can use me as it sees fit.

Welcome back, Bros! Good for us - thanks to our heroic victory over Teutonic invaders we have managed to tip the balance of power slightly in our favour, which is reflected in force strength bar. We are still severely handicapped though.

Hmm... I would fancy a KV tank, but we need much more points for that.

No AT guns available either. All we can buy is some crappy infantry. I think I won't buy anything new right now and save a few points to purchase something more useful.

I can't come up with any better force deployment scheme, so I leave the old one.

Once the ceasefire ends, StuG III C immediately shows up. Their reserves must be substantial indeed.

Malakal scores another armoured vehicle kill, although for unknown reason, Kaiserin claims half of that kill for himself.

Chefe, lacking any armoured target, scores a direct hit from his cannon on unfortunate German infantryman with AT round.

Meanwhile, another Wehrmacht squad is taking casualties from our HMG fire. Take that, nazitards!

Enemy mortar fires at HMG team. We got used to it already.

After a while mortar changes its target. One of the shells critically hits a bunker, destroying the 45 mm AT gun! Kaiserin is heavily wounded, and Malakal got stunned but seems to be OK nevertheless.

The poor gun crew hides in the nearby trenches. Malakal is in shock and shoots psychotically at direction of the enemy with his Mosin rifle.

At the same time, some high-caliber rounds penetrate the walls of the house like butter, killing Lesifoere and Crispy. It must be the Panzer II shooting from somewhere.

Yes! Major_Blackhart spotted the damned Panzer and heroically tries to destroy it even with half of his crew members dead.

But once another couple of 20 mm rounds punch through the walls, Blackhart looses his courage and starts to panick. Chefe is pinned down too.

But German AT gun starts firing at the building, killing Blackhart. The structure is about to collapse. Chefe, however gathers all his wits and reloads the gun.

But with Panzer, AT gun and mortar firing at him, Chefe quickly is overtaken by fear.

When things get more quiet for a bit, Chefe abandons his post and runs away in terror. If he manages to avoid NKVD patrols he might even survive it.

LMG squad is in difficult position too. Xi was killed by Panzer II, and mortar started shooting at them too.

HMG guys have mowed down all german AT gun crew members, who killed Major_Blackhart.

We have lost all our AT weapons, and Pz IID is closing in to our position. We can't kill it, continuing battle would be an utter waste of our soldiers' lives. We have no other choice but to flee.

So much for saving points.

Comrade General, I would rather rehabilitate myself in battle than in Siberian Gulag.

Comrades! We're beaten, but we can consider ourselves lucky. Most of other Red Army units were encircled and destroyed in the first weeks of the war. We might have lost this battle, but the war is not over yet. We shall stand firm and defend the Motherland, whatever the cost may be!

He survived. In this game, soldiers disappear only when killed, wounded, or surrendered.

Personal files updated by the way.

I believe in the next operation we'll going to get a lot of new recruits.

Awesome, you actually manage to get asswhipped by the AI. This LP becomes more interesting with each update. Anxiously awaiting your next installment and my chance to die a glorious and utter pointless death. Urrah!

Could you have changed the enemy commander's name though? I mean, Cleve would have been perfect.

Will Cleve succeed in destroying the Codex? Or can our army be the Warriors of Diversity? Only time will tell.
