Cool, two of the worst recent trends in game development combined. I hate this fucking timeline.
At least it is not a soulslike.

"Lovecraftian French Revolution deckbuilding roguelike". Okay, so I like the first half of that. The second half ? Not so much.

But the main problem, judging from the trailers, is that this is no different from a fucking mobile game.

Codex+ Now Streaming! Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
Called a "deck builder" but it's just action combat that looks exactly like Hades. Just call them skills or make up a name that fits the setting ffs why the hard on for cards? First stream that popped up was some bitch with danger hair.

Yeahhh, that's gonna be a no from me. What's up with these shit games that get posted.

What a goddamn waste of a perfectly good setting for an RPG goddamnit. There is so many opportunities for choices and consequences in that time period. Hell, I remember there was even an "RPG book" (I don't know how they're called in the UK/US) which was set during the French Revolution.
