2012 is not that far from 2016. To me anyone who is below 10 years and thinking of himself as not-new-user is weird. Unless it's an alt (which is particularly true for Patrons, because these people NEED access to sections that are restricted to them otherwise).I feel the same about everyone who joined after 2016.

I played Skyrim onceEvery newfaq should be obliged to write at least a 3 page long essay regarding his experience with RPGs. Should the essay turn out to be a plagiarism or not be approved for any other reason, it's a thanks kay bye. Alternatively, let the user have another chance in a year and for that time period have him have access to a single subforum chosen randomly with only reading ability etc..
Just noticed another based user here in this thread had similar thoughts regarding this! I have to get in the habit of reading more thoroughfully I guess. Maybe not
I take consolation in the fact that I'm much older in meat space than most who've got a join date predating mine.2012 is not that far from 2016. What is the reasoning behind restricting search function for new users?Yes.After that, I think they do not specify anything else, but I notice that I can't use the searches unless it is the search by tags. So, I wanted to know if that is a limitation for being a new user
As soon as the corresponding rule comes up, of course.Every newfaq should be obliged to write at least a 3 page long essay regarding his experience with RPGs. Should the essay turn out to be a plagiarism or not be approved for any other reason, it's a thanks kay bye
When can we expect yours?

It seems a bit weird - isn't search functionality already limited by new users not being able to see posts from several sections of the forum?
We roll a dice about what features should or shouldn't be available for users. What is the reasoning behind restricting search function for new users?Yes.After that, I think they do not specify anything else, but I notice that I can't use the searches unless it is the search by tags.
