Well, what should we do about it now? I suppose we could just issue him a warning for now.

The Sermons of Vivec are truly the most inspiring series of books in the universe.

:D:D Tutorial videos popping up in the middle of racing seems like something from a parody video on youtube, yet they put it in the game for real! And you can't skip it.:D:D

I'd feel sorry for the people who paid for this game, but if they gave money to EA they deserve no better.

I know this will disappoint many people on the Codex as I am sure the games would have been amazing with the new Frostbite engine.

EA must really be in trouble, if they lack the resources to make a shovelware tie-in game for grandmas and idiots to buy. Leaving money on the table is not their m.o., and if they were ever going to care about quality they'd have started a long time ago.

Disney probably forced them not to make cheap shovelware that devalues the brand... just AAA shovelware.

I suspect that EA have realised that they don't have a clue why their movie franches (TOR included) aren't performing. This is a company that looks everywhere but the product (so long as the product's gameplay can be matched to a recent hit) for explanations of failure. It's the company that doesn't comprehend why a blanket policy of every game having 'monetised' items, or forcing singleplayer SimCity to be played online over servers (waaayy worse than just having an always online requirement) is retarded.c

How puzzling must it be to them that a franchise that sells as well on paper as Star Wars (or any film tie-in, for that matter) could fail to translate into market domination?

Eh, they're just saying they're going to keep spamming their existing SW IPs and milk the Extended Universe. Like that's any better.

fifa manager closes. no more iterations after this last one.
    it makes no sense.
it makes no sense that the game sucked, that it was worked on by two german losers and that it closes.
ea has all the required licenses to use all the names it wants, it has an advanced game engine and all the workpower it wants.
    football is a HUGE business.
the only competitor was football manager which is just a spreadsheet, abusable to infinity and beyond even without knowing all the bugs and tricks.
so what does ea produce? a bugged game, using part of the licenses it could, with a decade old, falling apart engine.
by only using an updated fifa football engine, fifa manager could have destroyed pes (people still buy it for that master league crap...) and inflict serious damage to football manager.
    instead fifa manager closes.
    it makes no sense.

some years ago it was definitely not. the engine was arcade but sort of reliable*, and on the "manager" side it was light years ahead of football manager, with so much at your disposal and so many possible automations you could play it any way you wanted, from the omniscent being to the single player on the field.
i haven't been that entertained since player manager.

*: football manager 14: a game can end with 40 shoots on goal, posts hit and yet the team lost 1-0 to a much worse one.
i'm not pulling numbers out of my ass.

Hahaha you are not joking.FIFA Manager had FIFA level of simulation,no matter how you set a match length to be end results are hilariously unrealistic, your backs never able to score or assist;defenders unable to score goals, games with 20 passes overall;games with 2 throw ins...you get my point. That game have so many exploits that is not even funny.Mention it with CM/FM in the same sentence is blasphemy.

Players with speed/acc double the opponent's outpaced because of engine animations is fun to watch too.
