Once you finish the tutorial it goes to an open map, but it not a actual open map. It's more of an corridor maze, you follow narrow roads & passages everywhere, exactly like Fable 1, and even towns and complex crossroads feel squeezed in.

Also the world map didn't appeared to be big...the demo area is kind of small, but It covers a big area on the world map.

the art of the surroundings is pretty nice here and there, though.. strange how one moment it seems todd mcfarlane and the other Fable. suspect todd did not have carte blanche on the gfx.

Yikes, that is some bad dialogue. Gave me flashbacks to any number of WoW raid bosses. "So you've come to die..." "Look at the mortal vermin scatter." "Pathetic Creatures. A Mistake of the gods. Easily corrected."

Did they pay someone for this? If the dialogue was intended to be free of personality, originality, and subtlety, then give the man a medal.

So, I've been thinking: Why are these fairies so dangerous? Wasn't cold iron the universal weakness of these (as silver is for werewolves)?? The humies could just build a fence made of cold iron and watch how the fairies die trying to cross it.

Casting sleep on the Ogre and Orcs, killing the ORCS first. Going back up to save. Returning to the Ogre( still sleeping somehow, due to their DUMB LUCK ), manually position the characters around him, guy gets one-shotted, leave him there, and LEAVE THE FUCKING CHEST you reloaded 3 fucking times for ALONE....:eek::eek::eek:

I don't know. I kind of like the atmosphere of the game. Perhaps if someone was to mod a less jarring arsenal into the game it would be quite easy on the eyes.
