The Video Game History Foundation is working to save the history of the making of video games.

On Oct 30th they are doing a live stream special event to help raise money and I'll be a guest talking about the making of Monkey Island where you can ask me questions (as long as it's not about the secret because after 30 years I've completely forgotten what it was).

I listened to "The Making of..." documentary. What hit me was that even back then they crunched.

Up till now, have been unable to get into the 1st & 2nd MI.
Loved The Curse of Monkey Island, since its release.
My 1st adventure game & one my favourite games ever.
Strikes the perfect balance between art + puzzles, for me.
Never seem to get tired of it.

There was probably always "crunch" in the software industry.
The difference is, I think, who is crunching, and for what:
crunch for something you own (or that may bring you fame),
vs crunching for a salary (and maybe a good CV reference).
