Mission-based games where difficulty settings alter your objectives

I like this mechanic a lot, but it seems to be underutilized and practically forgotten today. Thief is the most obvious example, and I remember NOLF2 also featured this. Maybe Goldeneye for N64 too? Mostly played MP on that one so I’m not sure.

Anyone know of any other games that use this sort of difficulty structuring?

Clive Townsend's old 8-bit title Saboteur has the same objectives every time (infiltrate base, find time bombs, steal floppy disk, plant charges, get to da choppa) but the locations of items and such change with every difficulty, and the game has nine difficulty levels... and the timer grows shorter on each difficulty level. The timer on the maximum difficulty is so tight, players only have scant seconds of spare time to complete all the objectives, so memorizing the layout becomes essential.
