This is due to the complaints about monks being less fun in a game where loot plays an important role.
Good point. It is only a marginal improvement in terms of loot possibilities. Maybe I should drop the armor restriction.
How doable it is to let them wear multiple rings/necklaces/etc to make up for the lack of typical gear setup? The player would still be looking for loot instead of walking around with empty slots he won't fill, and it can be reasoned as talismans or the like.
