Morrowind mods are a fucking jungle

The implementation is so awful it might as well be an exploit. You're talking semantics. Enchanting and spellmaking in vanilla Morrowind are utterly broken. Hey, it's a single player game... if you want to do it, fine, but let's not pretend it's anywhere close to being balanced.

Also, to anyone other than DraQ, still wondering about what would be good major/minor skills under BTB.

It's also your only viable option if you want to be a proper spellcaster. The vendor-bought spells are, apart from a few exceptions, beyond shitty.

Enchanting is fixed by MCP (forced 4s cooldown on cast when used), spellmaking is broken how exactly?

Same build you'd use in vanilla, except you have to take into account that leveling is slower and Miscs only raise with paid training. Meaning you'll probably want to take Athletics for once. The readmes are extensive and will prevent you from making mistakes (though the game is still not really that hard so "build mistakes" are largely irrelevant, and more of a spergian thing)

Yeah, no more horrible, horrible instantgibs that take more magicka than 2s fire or frost damage spell of equal destructive power, and refuse to damage what they don't kill outright.
