You can use this stylish rule if you'd like to make the quote/spoiler margins a little smaller

Code:
@-moz-document domain("rpgcodex.net") {
  .bbCodeQuote .quoteContainer, .bbCodeBlock pre, .bbmSpoilerBlock .bbm_spoiler {
  border: 1px solid #5F5F5F;
  }
  .bbCodeBlock {
  margin: 0px 2em 1em;
}
}

in before a Djinn casts Wish

Sorry, I should have mentioned this was on a mobile phone. Doesn't do that from a PC browser.

Since no one tried out the stylish rule, here's what it looks like with it active.

...did it work? I can't tell if that's a success or a failure. :lol:

Same problem still exists, I just made the rule for myself so that large quote pyramids remained readable.
I also like the borders standing out a bit more, but that's just me.

As you can see there's a lot less padding on the left, so they don't leave the visible space too quickly, and the contents also don't become a long vertical string too quickly.
