Romance of Three Kingdom, province campaign. As in both side field armies in battlefield of province instead of troops in a town or forest. I hate that shit~

Fallout 1, the barter action. Fuck that shit~

FF10's ball game. I cant get into it~

A side note: Also, NWN2 tutorial quest, that fucking bow~ It does not have proper stat, meaning the friendly trader rip off our foster father. And we cant even make away with it to use for the swamp or the village fight.

Prey -- respawning mini-game, WHY

Legend of Kyrandia -- fuck caves

NWN2 the whole game.
Call me strange but I have no issues with sewers levels, with exception of one or two games.
And yes I got similair impression with F2. "Look at that guy with big gun on the cover! Can't wait to plaTHE FUCK ARE THESE ANTS AND SPEARS".

The Force Unleashed - The section where you have to pull a star destroyer from orbit using the force. Non-responsive QTEs where indication of success or progress is non-existant, while constantly being attacked by TIE Fighters that shot you with unblockable shots.

Metal Gear Solid 1 - Whole segment with the PAL card at the end. First you have to hunt the rat that eats it (?), then in order to use it successfully, you've gotta go to two random areas in the game to heat/freeze a card in order to use it properly.

Metal Gear Solid 2 - Emma escort section. Literally handholding an autistic girl in a stealth game. Utter nightmare.

Metal Gear Solid 3 - EVA escort section. Escorting a wounded girl through a heavily guarded area. If she gets too hungry then she'll alert guards. If you tell her to wait and wander too far away, she'll eventually try and find you and probably alert guards. If you put her to sleep, then she'll snore and talk in her sleep, alerting guards. Only way to get her to stay still and not alert guards is to punch her in the face enough to knock her out.

Resident Evil 4 - That one section in the castle segment where you have to cover Ashley as she winds cranks on a catwalk above you to bring a bridge up. You're far enough away that aiming with anything other than the semi-auto rifle is a complete crapshoot, and she's attacked by two or three guys at once every time, each of which take at least a half-dozen headshots from the pistol to take down, and if they grab her then you have to shoot them without hitting Ashley, who's thrashing and kicking on their back, and hitting her will kill her instantly and game-over you.

I really hate this guy.

Ending of Act 2 in Pillars of Eternity.
Another time.

Divine Divinity -- first dungeon is a long drag, should've been shortened in half

Legend of Kyrandia -- fuck caves

Arcanum -- fuck sewers

I don't quite recall DD having long early game dungeon, unless if you're talking about tutorial that has almost trivial combat and puzzles to teach newcomers to the game.

LoK was kinda fun figuring out without a hint book, I hate the game more due to the trial n error gems.

Arcanum Sewers? Isn't that optional?

The funniest thing about Letho is that he's probably the most dodge-heavy fight in the entire game, so once you've beaten him you've pretty much mastered how to evade sword swings and attacks by rolling around him. Then immediately afterwards you get access to the riposte skill and that just instantly invalidates it all by giving you an instant win counter every time you block.

Try playing as alchemy heavy build - all your pots are out the moment the combat starts lol.
In this vid I played sign heavy build and barely did any damage.

And the reward for beating him is a 'Fuck you, you didn't' from the cinematics.

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth - dat March factory raid felt like a complete drag mostly because the area was poorly designed and you could easily get lost.

kill.switch - Temple levels were utter shit.

Chrome - stealth levels and shitty AI never work well.

Silent Storm Sentinels (S3) mission in London. Limited turns, few bombs. Save scum or die.
Incubation - escort dr Reich ( dat name tho). Good preparation for addon Wilderness Missions though.
Arnika Road in Wiz8 if you get bad spawns (that rhino-like creature or small army of plants).
Any game with regenerating health, where enemies hit 98% (no matter what difficulty setting) of the time and you get surrounded with no cover. Game that can be doable for low reflex geezer like you, but you suddenly need to wake your old younger incarnation and shoot them in the blink of an eye.

These are good one.

If you don't play with Circle of Eight then you can abuse resting encounters. I rather do this stupid thing than do any Hommlet task.
But that magic sword for engaging with this stupid farm girl is neat...

Resident Evil 4 - That one section in the castle segment where you have to cover Ashley
ah yes, sweet time with Ashley stupidity and dumb AI, but most people hush you out for blaming AI ("game have best escort missions ever blahblah").
In Resident Evil 5 most things but driving on boat take a cake. The amount of sudden QTE out of nowhere, constant lack of ammo and else.

'I don't see Io- oh man, is that his body?'

I like the game but the combat is just awful.

The first dungeon in DD is a long drag that you do not expect so early on, not some little tutorial area you're making it sound like. You're not really taught anything, just to slog your way through before finally being able to leave the opening town.

There was nothing fun about those fucking fireberry caves in LoK, you sick masochist.

Not sure about them being optional but I was referring to the Tarant sewers in Arcanum, maybe they were. If that example doesn't fit, then I'll just go with Night Goat. I can't think of a single time a sewer area was remotely enjoyable and I have no idea why so many devs insist on shoving them into games.

The speeder level in Battletoads for the NES. I'd rather not talk about it.

Divine Divinity -- first dungeon is a long drag, should've been shortened in half
Mega Man -- fuck disappearing blocks

This x2.

There was this one Dark Forces level, I don't remember which, but you were in this large facility and had to find the token keys but it developed in such a way that most of them were hidden behind places that I would consider secrets. Maximum butthurt.

Beginning of any Dragon Quest game where I just sit down and grind.

Ansem. Fuck Ansem.

Any level in Jak & Daxter 2 or 3 that required the following: A turret section, a racing section, racing with a turret section, skateboarding, etc.

Right now I can only think of every fucking time I start a new game, spend 30 minutes creating my party and then it dumps me into the new world and starts shoveling exposition about it full of made up words. This puts me to sleep and I can't keep on playing that day. So what I wanted to say is the beginning to Pillars of Eternity was horrible.

It was the same thing in Serpent in Staglands Pixelated Shit: The Game.
All them Divinity games.
Wasteland 2
The intro is usually the most shit part of every RPG.
