I just can't remember its name, but I have very specific details:
- It was a game you played
- It worked on hardware, but only when switched on
- It had controls
- It also had graphics and sound too
- Made between the '80s and the '00s (<- how the hell is this pronounced?) which greatly shrinks the range

On a less serious note, if you can't come up with the game I'm looking for, feel free to hijack the thread and change it into "badly describe a game and let others guess"

"badly describe a game and let others guess"

I think that's the point. These people have very vague memories of a game they're looking to rediscover, all they can do is badly describe it and let others guess. No harm in it if you ask me.

the '00s (<- how the hell is this pronounced?)

I'm going to do this since I don't feel like starting a new thread over it. If a game was published and got sold at some point you should be able to find it, it's there on mobygames somewhere, or mentioned in some retro game community where even the most obscure video games of the past are documented and preserved. If you are looking for a game like the one I am after though, then you're absolutely fucked. It was never sold, it came out before itch.io either was even a thing or it got mainstream in the indie scene, it was published on the dev's website only as far as I know. It's not in any database, probably a handful of people ever played it, the files might not even be on the net anymore.

So here's what I have to go on. This game must have come out before the indie boom but around the 2010's or so. I found out about the game through an article on Rock Paper Shotgun, yeah, make fun of me all you want but back then there were few options to find small games that were out there. I think John Walker, that huge faggot, was still writing for them. I've been trying to track down the article that mentioned the game but without any title to search for that is painful. The game itself was extremely short and you could easily finish it within a couple of minutes. It was the sort of experimental experience the RPS writers went for back then, it was less about the politics and more about being hipsters. When women took over the place they ditched that for bubblegum political commentary about mainstream games or some tranny posting about porn games.

What I remember of the actual game is that you play a card game of some sort with IDtenT in a pink thong. Okay, not really, but some green humanoid monster and the pink thong was real. The stakes were not clear and purposefully left vague, there might have been some choices you could make between rounds, that part is fuzzy. It was not some twine game but you did pick cards and play them.

I liked the vibe of it and it has been bugging me for a long time now that I can't remember the title of the game.
