Absolutely epic so far, although I haven't finished it yet (now on part VI). Way better than A Legionary's Life, though I wonder if the combat presentation in ALL wasn't slightly better? I like that the retarded resources gathering minigame is gone, even though it was somehow endearing in its 8bit-like way.

I wonder how far chronologically the game will go? Will it continue into the civil war between Augustus and Marc Anthony? Will I be able to pick sides? Would be one of the best RPGs ever if so.

Anyway, one thing I think is lacking, and maybe mods could fix it, is since large parts of the game are basically a visual novel, the PC should be represented as a cute anime girl. Like so:

What if I were to tell you a worse, and less of a game, resource gathering minigame replaced it?

I plan to include new chapters, from the mop-up operations in Gaul to the entire civil war against the Pompeians, with additional battles and events.

You mean the engineering thing? That one's not annoying.

Meh, that's a bit disappointing. I was hoping for a more chronologically extensive gameplay. Historically, some of Caesar's veterans from the Gallic Wars fought under Augustus against Marc Anthony. Sort of a bummer to not have it included.

Still, I love this game, just as I liked A Legionary's Life. The ROMANITAS is strong in this one.
