What is the OTON X Game Console?
Hello, my name is Derrick Samuels, and my team and I designed the OTON X for the novice developers, young adults and casual players who want to play casual games, create simple game levels or expand their game development experience with a built-in A.I tool and user-friendly template which will help teach players to create games much easier.

We see OTON's creation software as a new genre we call “AI Created Content”. We designed OTON to be user-friendly, hassle free & unlimited hours of daily fun. It's a Linux PC, autonomous game console, developer tool, media hub and social hub all in one device for under $500.

System Breakdown
We used an off the shelf enclosure to test our OTON algorithm software. The case is a slim aluminum enclosure, low profile case, plus, Nvidia graphics or Intel HD graphics based on the OTON unit you select. OTON case dimensions 200 mm×225 mm×45 mm; 7.87”x 8.86” x 1.77” (W×L×H)
Revolutionary Console
How did we do it? Our proprietary software is 3 years in the making. We took a radical idea on paper and turned it into a fully working system. This version of OTON is strictly a high level developer unit. Each OTON unit will have onboard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and unlimited storage. The OTON X console takes the hassle out of buying games, loading games and trying to find something new to play. Every two months we will offer free updates, game assets and new mini levels to play on the OTON X system.

The OTON algorithm allow games to be created around new environments, game challenges, goals and characters. The OTON characters play a pivotal role in gameplay and level design. You can have OTON create levels around character’s abilities, speed and special powers. Your OTON created game levels can be simple or complex based on the challenge you the game player wish to experience in the game. OTON can produce over 1 million distinctive game levels with us adding over 300 unique playable game characters over the course of the year. As we update the algorithm and platform players can expect hours of fun and excitement for years to come with OTON. With OTON, you the “gamer” are in control of your own gaming experience.

Unlike other game consoles OTON is designed to give players unique and unlimited game levels that focus on exciting challenges, core goals and complex level attributes . With the support of Kickstarter we plan to add over 50 new non-playable characters and over 1000 unique game level assets to give players an unlimited variety of games and challenges.
OTON X Player Competition
The OTON X Leaderboard is used to track player ranking, points, wins, and losses across all active OTON units and players. Players can be ranked against other players based on their number of games won, points, items collected or retrieval of hidden game objects. The OTON leaderboard will also serve as a yearly tournament scoreboard for all qualified OTON players. Overall, the OTON leaderboard can provide an incentive for players to improve or gauge overall player accomplishments.

OTON X Timeline: To meet our timeline and release date the first batch of OTON units will have an estimated 1K production run. If we can produce and deliver more units before the end of November 2016 we will. The next batch of units will ship in early January 2017. We have to set a solid timeline to successful get the units into the hands of our backers quickly as possible. This current timeline will allow for minor add-ons, new software updates,feedback community ideas and overall testing.

Our team has more than ten years of tech expertise, game and manufacturing experience. Between 2008 and 2010, we successfully produced and shipped a limited quantity of our first-run console system called EVO. Our company leadership has set trends and successfully moved products to market.
Ex-Marine, Creator and inventor Derrick Samuels has worked with and developed several new trends in tech and practical products. His initial EVO Smart console in 2008 was the first to combine biometrics, a PC, a game console, a DVR, and a media device into one unit. That same unit was also the first system to provide content that was digitally distributed, powered by the Akimbo platform. In 2008, Samuels’ first EVO shipped for a startup game console company with Linux as a working OS.

Risks and challenges
Of course, there's always the potential for snags with any creative project. Things can go wrong, take longer to complete than expected, etc. The good news is that we have finalize the hardware, source our manufacturing company, and the initial software is done. We have also sourced the game controllers and keyboards from varies manufacturing companies. We will provide frequent updates to everyone, so everyone is in the loop. In the event that there is a delay, everyone will know well ahead of time. We have already done 99% of the work to get the units ready, the only delays we foresee is the manufacturing and producing of the keyboard and game controller which we don’t see being a big issues. To confirm the hardware used for both the OTON Home and OTON Ultra units are off the shelf components, however the OTON algorithm is custom made and develop by EnGeniux. We used a open source 2D game engine to test our algorithm. This is not a final retail unit. This version of OTON is a high level development unit for feedback and entertainment. This unit will ship on the estimated time we outline if our initial goal is met. Beyond the current risk and challenges we feel that we can meet the projected timeline.
