I would love to live in a world where more developers were actually making first person actiony role playing games with dungeons to crawl and places to explore. But even Arkane betrayed us. 
I hope this thingie at least gets good dungeon crawling mods.

This This and more of this. From Oblivion to Fallout 3. The writing always seems like it was done by high school kids given too much encouragement by their teacher. Don't these guys ever grow up? It's like the fuckin Simpsons in dis bee otch.
Even if you suck at writing, can't you get better? Can't you look at your past shitty work and go, hmm, wow that was terrible. I'm going to try to do better next game. Or hmm, maybe I'll go and study some authors I'm fond of and see how they do it.

I haven't looked at much footage since I am not that interested, but the little I seen has been so uninspiring. A couple of fights in dungeons, many colors when fighting, few colors when not. I heard talk about art direction, but sew few examples of some. But most I seen showed is dragons flying and being shot at. At the scenery isn't exactly close to what I see when I do real hiking in similar terrain.
