Make fun of Melirinda all you want on the Codex, but don't derail NWN2 discussions on the official boards with it. It's easy enough to make her look like stupid without deviating from her stupid arguments. There's really no need to bring up her laughable reasons for disliking Torment in every argument.

sure, but none of the others are anywhere near as fun.

Her hate towards forced male-protagonists?
I know you're adamant about this and that you find it incredibly ridiculous.. but you know, some people like to customize their character if they're playing a rpg - and that includes choosing the sex of the PC. I am one of those players who hates not being able to create his character - appearance, race, class, sex, color.

In before hysteria and "we knew that!!11".

What I do feel weird about her is her compulsion to buy games just to mod them without even playing them and then playing them with her added romances/banters. Now, that's totally idiotic.. but, you know, it doesn't hurt me.. so.. yes, maybe a bit, on a mental level.

Not even. I just don't want the discussion to get derailed by people being dbags to each other.

Sorry, but.. since you insist (if I were you I would ignore this point and be ashamed in silence :p ).

You wrote:
"I would still like to see people be at least respectful even when they disagree."
What are you doing here then, you ain't gonna see this here. :/ Hell, people aren't respectful here even when they agree..

Ah, ok... but you should understand that people like to bash Merilinda from time to time. After all she's bashing Obsidian constanly because it doesn't have romances and banter like bioware and all that shit. I.. I just don't want you to be infected with the bioWhore fascistic-mod syndrome. ;) Yeah, you're still not even close though..

PS. 12 new creature models:

Yuan-ti infiltrator
Yuan-ti abomination
Yuan-ti boss/whatever
another Yuan-ti model

Batiri goblin

Another base-race model (?.. who cares, hopefully not; there's enough of those already)

Dinosaur.. yeah, pity, but prolly it'll be included.

Some snake..

Maybe a Zehir model.. doubtful.. but still

That's already 9...
What about a MARILITH, ANTHONY??

On our official forums we would like people to be respectful to each other. They are representing the community that we are trying to build and foster.

RPG Codex is the RPG Codex...disrespect is PART of the community. ;-)

I couldn't tell you the answers to your art questions even if I knew them, sorry bout that.

I liked the PS:T romances because they didn't end happily and had some fantastical complexities that fit in well.

Ok, I guess I need to take back my previous statement.

I DID enjoy the 'romances' in Planescape Torment a tremendous amount, but I would never even call them a 'romances' personally. To me they were just another facet of the relationship between TNO and his fellow tormented souls. None of them were typical, none of them had a 'Hollywood' ending. They were amazingly well written though.

But what about MotB? I haven't yet played it because of computer issues, but I hear the companions are of the highest level.

Also, I liked KotOR 2 "romances" too. The female companions followed you but they didn't love you. They admired you and would accept your wisdom, yet it seemed that they didn't really care about your inner self, just your greatness. That was at least the impression I got.

I remain convinced that Melrinda isn't a girl, but a guy with severe self loathing issues.

Yes, they are. I haven't seen the Gann romance yet, because he apparently doesn't like bad girls, but Safiya's romance was pretty good.
IMO, a good romance is one that doesn't have stupid shit. Safiya's didn't have stupid shit. Aerie was full of stupid shit. That's basically all there is to it.

Codex 2012 Codex 2013 Codex 2014 PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Serpent in the Staglands Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 BattleTech Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire
When I first met Gann in the game, my first thought was "Here's another bland, pretty boy female love interest" so I made sure to choose the insulting and humorous dialogue option. Much to my surprise, he enjoyed my characters wit and I gained influence with him. He was my favorite companion... until One-Of-Many.

Bash her all you like in these forums, just not on the BioBoards...

Personally, I don't mind what is said, but I will defend her position. She does not bash OEI, she complains and offers her opinion and solutions, unlike some others I know. (not you in particular, but others that that post in these forums).

But quite frankly, I don't give a fuck what you or others may think of her, she is still a community member there and while on those forums, people are expected to follow the rules of those forums when posting on those forums.

Selene..? Who the fuck cares about the bioWhore forum rules.
I don't give a fuck about bashing Merilinda on the bioWhoreBoards - people can ridicule her here. Personally, I think the Codex should open a subforum titled "Merilinda", because frankly, I got tired of seeing Merilinda this and Merilinda that - especially since the bioWhoreBoard has far greater retards* than her in its arsenal.. just scroll a bit the DA forum for some additional info.

*Although I agree Merilinda is a HD 30 in the ridicules department.

1. I care what goes on at the BioBoards, and if opinions, and discussions carry on over to there from here, in the same manner as they are allowed here, then it becomes my business.

2. If your brains weren't up your arse, you would have understood that in that particular instance I wasn't talking about you in particular.

3. What you think, and post in these forums, matters little to me, but don't (and I don't mean just you) carry it on over to there in the same fashion as here as one person has already done who is posting in this particular thread.

So.. you're trying to prevent that by patroling the internets? How.. smart and noble of you. :)

2. If your brains weren't up your arse, you would have understood that in that particular instance I wasn't talking about you in particular.

Bitch, whichever particular instance you're referring to - I don't give a shit; before, now or after. So your point is irrelevant.

... Or what, sweety? You'll cry to the fatty and try to ban deuxhero from the bioWhoreBoards? (Which should concern me/us/the internets... why?). :)

Isn't it nice for a change though?
From that fascistic pit you lurk to unknown lands of freedom of expression and speech. It comes at a price though; you must always watch your back as you never know when a frenzied crazy monster will bite your head off. :) That won't be a problem for a tough girl like you, am I righty, am I? :o

Freedom of speech? It doesn't exist in forums. Sure, you can say what you will here, and I am good with that, the forums here seem appropriate for it.

Frenzied mosnter? :P Nah, I've seen worse ;)

Warden is nothing, wait until the multi-headed dicks comes and starts to crit your legs (oh god it's heavan).

That said choosing Warden as discussion partner isn't the most intellectually stimulating way to spend your evening but I guess you found out already.

OK, break it up you two. Get back to the subject or I'm locking this thread. I'm giving a warning to Warden for using naughty language and Selene for trolling.

Oh wait, I'm locking this thread anyway. All Storm of Zehir threads are now compiled in a sticky. Have to look in to banning whoever started this thread, that dirty piece of poo.
