It's the small moments like these that make my job worth it.

You should have made it a Restoration Mod for NWN2.

^ plenty of AOE spells that don't harm party members (you'll be spamming Isaac's Greater Missile Storm anyway) and the warlock can easily just blast chain-shaped essences.

fireball is a thing of the past

But missile storms typically suck against crowds. And you don't get the greater version until you get level 5 spells. So, yeah, once your 3 casters are reas onably powerful, they'll be a nice party. But until they get good spells around level 10 or so, the lone fighter in the party is going to be doing just about everything by himself and it won't be the easiest thing in the world.

My party will be: druid, ranger, sorcerer, warlock. Notice how there is only one fighter and the rest are casters. I'm going to toughen up the game because it will inevitably be easy.

I think I will go for a
1) Wizard Assassin/Arcane Trickster
2) Druid/Barbarian (just a drop of Barb)
3) Bard
4) Some type of fighter

Warlocks are more like archers than they are like casters. Also, they are great at low levels because of Frightful blast, extremely useful again enemy warriors.

I do not know how do you people expect to have any challenge with a party of 4 custom made characters... + 2 cohorts. This limit was made for n00bs who have difficulties defeating major foes.

I'll make 1 character. It'll be a rogue/fighter (without Hips - I do not exploit bad technical design) and I'll probably pick up only 1 cohort (a caster - wizard or cleric; even if the latter ones are a tad overpowered against undeads in the current system). Zhjaeve powaaah!

Oh yes, and I'll delevel my main char to lvl 1 --> 0 xp.

I did that in the OC as well.. but completely solo.
I was not losing at all. And I limited resting as well, severly.
I had a rule I could pick 1 companion for some tough fights, in exchange for a very big sum of gold though. (1000 gold per level - and that is how much it costed to die/reload or leave a fight as well)
That was with Tony K AI active.

Oh yes, forced companions were forced to "stay their ground" and knocked out with cheat commands if needed.

So yeah n00bs.. create a party of 4 and have some challenge. ;)

The stupid thing is that you do not get additional xp if you have less companions/ do all by yourself.. like in BG.

Careful Warden. The next thing you know you're larping a guard in Oblivion.

4 warlock stoutheart halflings with all points going into strength. They are going to be so awesome. Then they'll dual-wield longswords. Monkey grip ftw!

I'll make a group of four lesbian elves. At least one will be a ranger, other than that I'm not sure. A cleric or druid probably, and another warrior type.

This is going to need a fix for Hideous Blow, so it won't wear off after one hit. God, I hated this in NWN2.

lulz what? Actually 1 fighter + 3 orbital bombardment casters is the easiest party build in NWN2. While everyone attacking that fat on hp fighter - 3 casters just stand behind and nuke everything to pieces.

That'll kill your fighter pretty quickly due to crummy reflex saves unless you're playing on pussy mode.

I play easy in MoTB because combat sucks and I want to get it done ASAP.
