It's not my fault you're posting a lot of WTFs lately.

Dude. Just today you said noone needs strafing in a turn-based blobber and you have suggested BT4 is not more complex than Operencia. That's just today.

And I AM posting a lot of WTFs?

Maybe lay off them wannabe witty one-liners coz you're not good at them and start posting in full sentences again. I seem to remember you used to be able to do that.

Naturally. If you can't point at something with a mouse, of course it's pointless.

You were too retarded to handle Grimoire. This should be more your speed.

The steam review count currently sits at 119. That's 1,5 times fewer than Horizon's Gate - a pixel art indie with zero marketing released around the same time. So unless it was a mega hit on Epic (lol), the sales don't seem to warrant a sequel.

Well, don't forget the cash they got for putting it on Epic in the first place.

Nobody is going to buy their game after they sold their Hungarian cunts to Timmy S. I for one pirated it, anyone who goes to Epic is never getting a cent for their game from me.

I buy their pinball tables, that will have to do.

Same reason I didn't buy it so far. I played their Demo back in March and actually kinda liked it, but I generally Ignore games that have been Epic Excl00sives.

Might make an Exception for their VR Support and consider it a new Release though:

Horizons Gate is the third game in a series that has quite some renown in some parts of the internet. Voidspire Tactics was excellent.
Also Horizons Gate launched directly onto Steam, this had a year of Epic exclusivity. Only natural it gathers less buzz.

Seems like they were developing that trash called Castle Storm II up to now, someone should drag their asses back to the superior blobber genre after that.
A second game could be really good if it ups the combat and character progression complexity.

Which was kinda my point? Also, let's not conflate "less buzz" with "miserable flop".

Not too sure this flopped, Epic pays their devs a minimum amount for the exclusivity when they dont reach the expected sales. With this it might have been lucrative before even a single steam sale.
Grimoire is only at 450 review after a long ass time of being on Steam, and blobbers have good legs.
They probably expected more given that their non pinball steam game Castlestorm has a 1000 reviews, but depending on how high the budget was this could have written black numbers.

Not only it was on Epic Store, it was also part of the Xbox Game Pass. Clearly they got a lot of money already, Steam sales at this point are just a bonus.
