It looks ok on hig res, and talked to that farmer and the subject of crop rotation came up. So, they must have fixed a few things as well.

The crop rotation option is only available if you have 40% or more in Science, so it isn't a bug if it isn't available otherwise. Or are you referring to something else?

This is the splash screen I was greeted with upon trying to launch Fallout 2. I don't know how they managed to do this.

Aside from the wonderfully postmodern tiled effect of the screen, check out that big paragraph about Bethesda and Zenimax. No mention of Interplay or Black Isle.

I'd like to check it out further but unfortunately all my saves are broken and the Restoration Project no longer seems to work. Worth it of course for the paragraph and splash screen.

You have to reinstall it, obviously. When Steam updates a game like this, it resets all files in your game directory to their original state.

Any theories on whether Bethesda is going to come after modders, now that they are plastering the loading/menu with their legal junk?

If I need to change something in my mod's main menu, or Credits, etc., I should probably do it ASAP in that case.

On the plus side, I'd already put the "Fallout is a trademark of Bethesda/Zenimax blah blah" in the Credits a few releases ago, so I'm glad I did that.

You guys need to stop freaking out about a fucking copyright label on the menu. They pretty much have to do that due to US copyright laws, and they changed nothing else (including the Interplay logo). Chill out.
