Both betreyal and harbinger are old&clunky. They "added" affliction into ritual and didn't do justice to any narratively interesting thing like my example. Strongbox is effectively gutted too and on its last leg because divination nerfs. No wonder 2 is slop.

Harbinger map mechanic is ass and causes serious performance issues, and Beachhead is boring as fuck and unrewarding. People only use it because of fracturing orbs.
I doubt Betrayal is ever going away though.

Well they should rotate it at least cause it's some muscle memory now when it's supposed to be some detective stuff not anticlimactic.
They probably even think their new in-house voice acting talent is good enough.

It's only clunky on certain map types, don't run harbinger on those. Old doesn't matter.

It can kill the fidelity, yes (especially when mixed with for example beyond), don't care.
Beachhead is boring as fuck and unrewarding. People only use it because of fracturing orbs.
The specific maps/rewards are shit, agreed. In addition to fractures I like using it for leveling in combination with beyond, that's a lot of stuff to kill.

OK! Stop! This is the only improvement that is worth bringing from PoE2. Let's hope they don't mess with the game controls any more, slap a half-assed wasd for the retards without actually changing anything unlike the pure console drivel that is PoE2 controls.
They are gonna fuck it up aren't they

Very likely it's going to be PoE2 controls code if they implement wasd.

but how can I spend skillpoints while waiting for unskippable animations to happen if opening that window pauses the game. This will increase my time taken to maps by seconds, maybe even a whole minute.

Just spend the points and close the window and plan your build beforehand.
BTW I would like to remind you that the game was supposed to have a built in tree planner like 5 years ago.

More like supposed to have preset builds as 99% copy verbatim.
This seer npc stuff too copied verbatim with 99% worthless. This stuff is so offensively intrinsically crap.

And you think someone would be updating them every league to follow balance changes, in a company that delegates 95% of QoL to the players? The build planner at least was in the realm of possibility.

I'm actually terrified that when they backport rigs from PoE 2 they'll bring the WASD centric gameplay and ruin PoE 1. Hoping it's a toggle and you don't have the floaty animations and constant "moving while attacking" shit from PoE 2 but that's really copium on my part, how could you NOT get that when you are changing the animations to the PoE 2 animations?

floaty animations
This and whole sticky targeting is horrible, absolutely not possible to be sure that your PC would go to the point you've clicked upon and not do some weird shit (like leapslamming sideways or backwards because the game thought you are targeting a mob behind or w/e)

It was a fundamental design alteration to prioritise 'pads because self cast AoE.
Meanwhile Nintendo bought out mouse.

Hahahahaha, still laughing.

Poe2 was very dissapointing for me, went back to PoE1 after a day or so. Please tell me they do not plan on backporting the movement or rigging..

Since some of you have been such obnoxious cunts in the PoE2 thread it's only fair I behave the same way in yours.
PoE1 is fucking trash and so is piano flasking. Unfortunate that PoE1tards would rather defend the flask system because it's "dumbing down for consoles" instead of admitting that it's a good example of streamlining, like a sensible person would.

Alas, PoE1tards are not sensible people. If they were, they wouldn't be playing PoE1. Hope your game shuts down so I don't have to hear about it anymore lmao

I will just agree that flask piano is one of the reasons I quit POE1. I never enjoyed it and the orbs for flasks didn't improve it. Cutting it out of POE2 is one of the good decisions (like the changes to gem and socket systems).
