You can 'fix' that: keep trying to talk to little J in the throne room. Guessing you're not getting the dialogue option to complete it? If so, just keep talking to him over and over. It'll happen. Worked for me.

You finished Door to Nowhere? Mine stuck ( aka no new card at char description screen, quest finishes but no new card and in journal it says I failed to find a book, despite the fact that I did.)

Ever since I ve read Captain Garlic's legendary IWD 2 lp, I've carried around all the dead cats to honor Urgzzob's name. Also every Half Orc char I create is named after him. That thing is just too damn epic, I d read a book written by that guy.

Yeah. That LP is the most legendary one out there for RPGs. Just all round hilarity and zaniness.

Nakar's Ultima series LP comes fairly close, though.

"Republican Candidates play Baldur's Gate" is my personal favorite.

That one's pretty good too, codex has plenty of great lp s

Aside from people like us who like RPGs of course; instead of zerg rushing developers like SJWs or Fangirls we crawl inside our little lair and whine that everything is shit
Maybe if we did 251 pages of arguing for turn based party based games we wouldn't be in such shit and have to be saved by Vince or some ex-Nival russians

Anybody knows what kind of weapons does the traitorrous elf apprentice (Sartayne) make if you allow him to be your weaponsmith? is the pattern the same with the his old master? So far I havent seen any of the artisans specialyzing in scimitar / estoc kind of weapons. Might he be the one?

About the side-"quest" with the Nymph Melinsane and the woodcutters at the overgrown pool:

Anyone managed to get the non-violent, "good" ending to work correctly? I convinced the woodcutters to leave the area and intimidated the nymph into releasing the two charmed guys (checks succeeded), but when I talk to Gorax, he complains that he doesn't know what to tell their widows. Seems the logic of the quest is a bit borked?

I'm trying the long solution now - find these magic insta-trees for the nymph, but I'm afraid it will still not register correctly...

Yeah, if you successfully intimidate her it looks like she takes her hostages underwater to drown, not sure if that is intended or not. If you bring her the tokens it kind of works, you can talk to the foreman for a reward and to end the quest. But if you then talk to her again she runs off as if you killed everyone. Buggy, but at least the quest can be finished.

I dunno about Sartayne but Nazrielle can make you a +3 Acid Scimitar or a +4 Holy Scimitar (but you might need to upgrade Kamelands to a City for that).
As far as estocs, you might be hooped because I haven't found any better than a +1 Agile that I can remember.

You're right, she does indeed make a couple of good scimitars. So maybe the other guy does estocs? So far I've found +2 unholy(useless enchantment) estoc and that's it.
Also, any idea what's required for that maharaja lady to start giving me weapons again? It's been three months since she's delivered a gift and I did all of her quests. Also afaik she specializes in fauchards - what do I need to get her make one? Have her village into a town so far.

I think the Fauchard is her masterpiece, so she needs a city. You might just have to upgrade and wait.
On the other hand it could always just be bugged out.
