Nigro boy is getting killed fast,his whole quest line is pointless and retarded. He is maybe the most pointless character in story aspect. Everyone have some....interesting quests while his is to help him bone a white blond trash. Next time he is getting turned in to a red mush with his stupid dog. I dislike pointless characters,i always give all the characters on a first playtrough,but this one is just soo forced and meaningless.

What are you playing him as, a tank? How on earth do you get Ekun killed, never happened to me once. Spellcasters, clerics - yes, but OBAMA has a very, very nice AC to boost his survival and shoots things like from yards off.

He is a op companion,i am not arguing about his usefulness in a party. I just don't like how he is written,i kill him by attacking him during the first meeting. He is the most SJW written character in the whole game. He is a pointless to the main story,his whole quest is to kill some troll and get to fuck some chick.

Honestly, as much as BAM might be a token blackie character, no need to be so butthurt about that. Embrace Nok-Nok, have enlightened racist rants with Jewbie, moan about life with emoharrim and slide your sword into Valerie's scabbard. There's enough good things in the game to keep you busy.

I mean... that's situational too! The situation being, you are fielding a Paladin that uses 2-handed weapons - far from being a given. Your counter-argument: well, yeah, but Keldorn joins you and he's a powerful Paladin that uses 2-handed weapons! And my counterpoint: yes, but in this game, a dwarven Cleric straight up built for Necromancy joins you, too. He can really benefit from that cloak! As could the waifu elf, if you wanted to build her for that.

Personally haven't found a good use for the ring yet. We talking about the +2d6 sneak attack damage ring? If I put that on Nok-Nok he turns my party into bloody ribbons in 2 seconds.

+4 (stacking!) bonus to cha, 4 to critical confirmation rolls, 4 to trickery and 2 DC on mind affecting spells (notwithstanding the school - any CC spellcaster will benefit from it) and a -2 penalty to Wisdom, further -2 penalty to will saves, -4 to perception and skill checks, -10 against traps (basically warns you not to use it if octavia is your main traps specialist.

Well worth it if you ask me.

Psure the ring is bugged and gives +2 to CHA only.

The cloak is also rad, the gloves look ridiculous on sneak attackers, should work like scorching ray.

Oh i am not butthurt,i will just kill him once i replay the game . The game is great for certainty,i ma having a great time. This character is just shit and i have no intention to waste time with his sjw retardation,at least by killing him will give me some xp.

The helmet is amazing, I don't remember offhand but it's +6 WIS/CON and 10/- DR or something of that magnitude.

It's +6 WIS/CHA not con. And gives some DR against bludgeoning. It's pretty cool. And everyone can use it AFAIK.

So basically a superior version to the headband of perfection/crown if you dumped your int? damn.

That's ridiculous for d20. If that's their sense of balancing stuff I'm really concerned...

Honestly, that's pretty standard. D&D was always kind of shit with loot unless you have a low-level low-magic loving DM. It's perfectly normal to have +4 gear at level 14-16, and this game reflects that. If finding a +4 STR/DEX belt disgusts you this is not the game for you.

Also that's a late, lategame helmet. It'd be useless if it were weaker - which, again, is normal in D&D at these levels.

+4 gear at that level is perfectly ok by the rules, +4 on 2 attributes plus 10 DR is asking for too much at level 14-16. It depends on how much of such items are available in the campaign, too. It's just something that makes me think if the devs have just are different understanding of the game system e.g. making sneak attacks so easily available made me already worried, too.

My friend, that item is extremely difficult to get, there are many flags you might miss, and it's the culmination of a companion quest that is easy enough to miss, and stretches on through many chapters.

Stop being so suspicious and enjoy the incline, comrade.

It's 10/Bludgeoning, which is... acceptable. Listen, how big of a help are 10 DR when in chapter 3 I have to fight a few dozen giants that crit me for 100 - and they crit often? It's a drop in the bucket.

Nah it is a running joke. It came from a PoE thread a year and a half ago. It was about camping supplies and i assumed 6 because it was reasonable number,it turned out that it was the number for story difficulty or something. It stuck from that,it is amusing since the peolpe that point it out must have played the game on story in the first place. Anyway i do enjoy the joke when somebody brings it up. It is a nice comeback for a forum banter . I do play games mainly on normal or hard if it is easy as deadfire. I never play on the hardest and never claimed that.

I had two characters. The one that is fairly far in the game after Pitax and another one who was in the middle of ch1.
All saves from the second one are gone. Deleted. Not there in the saves folder. Gone. I didn't delete anything.
That's some next level incompetence. These things don't happen accidentally, there has to be code somewhere that just deletes your save files of other characters. Apparently a "known" problem.

to be honest, I don't see the appeal of playing on hard/unfair in this game.
BG1/2 and IWD1/2 at least rewarded you with double the experience.
Also all the stat bloat, with every monster with 3000hp, meh.

Yes, that's absolutely true.

He trashed the game saying it was easy on PotD (true claim at release after lvls 10+), but afterwards posted a screen which clearly showed he played on story or w/e the lowest is.

That's still happening? I haven't had that happen since release. It was one of the first things they patched. The autosaves and quick saves were also overwriting regular saves. Now it only happens if you have a character with only auto or quick saves because the slots for those are per installation not per character.
