My friend, that item is extremely difficult to get, there are many flags you might miss, and it's the culmination of a companion quest that is easy enough to miss, and stretches on through many chapters.

Stop being so suspicious and enjoy the incline, comrade.

It's 10/Bludgeoning, which is... acceptable. Listen, how big of a help are 10 DR when in chapter 3 I have to fight a few dozen giants that crit me for 100 - and they crit often? It's a drop in the bucket.
i’m extremely curios if the game allow a “perfect completition” with all the bonus/hidden stuff or if the main character can only obtain some.

Didn't fantadomat play PoE on easy and claim to have played on PotD?

Yes, that's absolutely true.

He trashed the game saying it was easy on PotD (true claim at release after lvls 10+), but afterwards posted a screen which clearly showed he played on story or w/e the lowest is.
You are still butthurt that i mocked you favourite dead game? That is a new low even for you mate,at least make a joke and don't lie like a retard.

Why are you so butthurt about playing on story? Be proud of yourself.

goddamnit, either my PSU or my RAM died, or both (although mobo is throwing up the DRAM red light specifically).

Now I have to wait until I order the new stick/PSU! In a way this is very nostalgic, feels just like when I was a teenager having hardware failures during Baldur's Gate 2 playthrough.

I had two characters. The one that is fairly far in the game after Pitax and another one who was in the middle of ch1.
All saves from the second one are gone. Deleted. Not there in the saves folder. Gone. I didn't delete anything.
That's some next level incompetence. These things don't happen accidentally, there has to be code somewhere that just deletes your save files of other characters. Apparently a "known" problem.
Autosaves? Quicksaves? Similar names? Game does not register different saves for different characters. If you make 2 saves with same name I heard it overrides them

If you used one name for both characters even manual saves will be in one character folder.

+4 gear at that level is perfectly ok by the rules, +4 on 2 attributes plus 10 DR is asking for too much at level 14-16
We can make it better just for you

Say 2 DR only, nay, 2% resistance to Crushing, +1 to stat, and it doesn't stack with any other bonus, because we don't want players to stack too many bonuses from equipment they find

Since we're doing it anyway, we can also replace all your holy axiomatic lightning swords with Legendary Swords that have 5% chance to do 6 extra damage but only when you land a natural critical hit (because if it's not natural 20, might be too unbalanced)

Eldritch Archer is a bit fucked up. The spells that can be used for Spellstrike aren't.. intuitive.

For example, Acid Splash and Ray of Frost can be used just fine. But Jolt can't. Now, you might say "But Luckmann, you fucking nazi retard, Jolt isn't a Magus spell, so suck dick". But neither is Ray of Enfeeblement, but that works just fine, and you can use wands for spellstriking (or should be able to use, I should say). Also, a major benefit of the Eldritch Archer should be that you can use Reach Metamagic to make spells like Shocking Grasp, Corrosive Touch, Touch of Gracelessness, or really any offensive touch-range spell, all of which explicitly become ranged touch attacks. But none of them seem to be working for ranged spellstrike.

And finally, as opposed to the other Magi types, for whatever reason, the Eldritch Archer can't hold a charge. This is extremely annoying, because if any of the other Magi don't get to expend their attack, they can just keep it charged until the next encounter and fire it off as they slap someone in the face. But an Eldritch Archer can't - if you move even the tiniest bit after your weapon has been charged with the ranged touch attack for spellstrike but before it has been fired, that spell is lost to the winds.

I'm not sure which of this is bugs and what is working as intended, but it all adds up to shit, either way.

Someone be a peach and report it to the faggots at Owlcat for me.

Too imba. Add 2d6 damage to user with each hit and 5% chance to cast heal on target.
Hmm, it will be too strong against undead...

Ekun has a lot more from Kivan, not Valygar.
Which is annoying, considering that Kivan was awesome and BAM is.. meh.

Really, I can see how some CNPC's were clearly inspired by certain BG1 characters (or at least I think it's clear, I dunno, I could be wrong), such as Harrim - Xan, Amiri - Shar-Teel (despite Amiri being a prefab character, that's the vibe I'm getting), BAM - Kivan, but all of them feel off-beat compared to their counterparts. Harrim is annoying in tone in a way Xan never actually was, BAM never actually feels cool at all whereas Kivan was a bundle of awesome without ever saying much, and Shar-Teel.. well alright, I'll give them Shar-Teel I guess. Both were retarded. Still liked Shar-Teel more. Can't explain why.

I'm not saying it is supposed to make her more likeable. It just how it was.

And that is a thing. Elf on revenge was vengeful, barbarian was dumb, bitch was a bitch and grass was green in BG.

In PK dumb barbarian chick is supposed to be likeable and have some sort of redeeming side with all the pariah and morality n shit. And that doesn't work.

Harrim though, I think actually works because he is "in the role" to the end, especially if you go full chaotic route with him.

Xzar and Montaron are still the greatest companion duo. They seem a bit shifty but probably are decent enough folks, they even give you free health potions if you help them.

Then you have one guy telling you he'll cut your throat if you ask him another question and the other talking like he's fresh out of a mental ward. This all happens within five minutes of picking them up.

Name a more iconic duo.

Xzar was awesome. Too bad he was pointless with Edwin in the game. And in BG2 his death was pretty irrilevant :(

Honestly, Xzar & Montaron and Xan should've been in the second game too, instead of that stupid chick that we've got and that whiny cleric.
