Nope. Pathfinder is 9/10 and would be 10/10 if had a decent AI. Everyone here believes that OwlCat should take lessons on how to make an AI from Pierre(kotc). However, only because a game has a flaw, doesn't means that the game is not good. Both OwlCat games has one of the best stories, the best character creation, and a lot of C&C + replay value.

Well, I don't know about you, but I have just started my new run on Hard with the latest patch. The "Additional Enemy Behaviors" are on as this is the part of Hard difficulty settings.

In the fight right after acquiring the angel's sword spiders rushed my back line, and if not for Anevia someone would have died. I think it is pretty nice for the A.I. to exploit my poor formation. I have never seen this in Kingmaker.

So... be careful what you wish for. And, as always, if something is not working - wipe out the game and old saves, download the latest version, restart with clear new save. It is the beta. Treat it like one.

Also, Wenduag is a bad match for Slayer, because she is Evil, so Deliverer is out of the question.

Well, time for 1 level Vivi dip in the name of inEffect!

No, she's for Dual Throwing Axes and Point Blank Snap Shottage.

Fighter 20. This game has some sick Throwing Axes.

It's not optimism, it's realism. Aka faith.

You want Point Blank Shot which means Archery Combat Style which blows. Just stay Fighter. Also her INT/WIS/CHR is poor for Slayer. Then again Stygian Slayer gives you this:

There's also a Slayer with Exploits too.

I want to ask. Does Owlcat think about using exploding barrels in game number 2 ? That's what makes perfect crpgs nowdays.

No barrelmancy. But you can be a might necromancer which is much better.

Necromancy is great , but being part of Barrel's Gate 3 is so tempting.

I have a bone to pick about Regil.

How he is written doesn't match his character sheet.

Hellknight is a poor class and he has the will save of a little girl, yet they write him up as being mentally tough multiple times (lost Chapel, the lab)

Which is annoying as he is one of my preferred party members from a story stand point, particularly when he red pills the gay painter.

Also Wendaug owns as a pure fighter with appropriate bow feats from the playthrough I had and her side quest is better than having mommy issues.

Daeran is full homo in this new beta though which kinda sucks, why would he want to fuck a 7 charisma half orc. Actually don't answer that.

To be fair, 7 charisma doesn't necessarily mean ugly, it just means dull as dishwater personality wise. Charisma is mostly about force of personality rather than looks, though an extremely ugly character is probably going to get a penalty.

Maybe Daeran is a complete slut that only fucks for looks.

Until you post a screenshot with hot portraits and/or a character named Infinitron, you're no match for him.

In any event I don't think base Slayer will be much of a thing going forward. Here's Nenio with a splash of Arcane Enforcer:

Heh, forgot I was taking her EK.

Arcane Enforcer Slayer Splash gets Martial Prof, Studied Target, and 15 move action teleports per rest. Ideally SS10/AE1/EK9 but forgot so SS12/AE1/EK7.

EK to turn on her Kitsune Pounce and Bite (last ten SS levels buy you very little), but Teleporting in to Cone shit is just busted. Too bad Maximize Rod won't equip, but main thing is SR bypassing Stun Lock.

Everything fits in exactly with what specific builds are trying to accomplish and have been struggling to get there with the whole game (if you're on the appropriate difficulty). Especially love the stuff that lets you keep your stat bonus with an additional edge.

Good enough to encourage the hard work to find it, narrow enough not to be game-breaking.

Note: Shirt stacks with Armor now - two different slots

Elemental Imbuement is pretty good. Cast flaming body (to heal from fire damage), sirocco or obsidian flow under your feet and then nuke with fire spells. But many demons are probably resistant or immune to flame.

As fun as charging for 50 something damage once in a while is, I'll probably not use a Triceratops in my "real" playthrough once the release is out because that gigantic model makes clicking things like dead bodies to loot way more obnoxious than it should be.

We can see the issues. Kingmaker was a 9/10 despite them, and I don't see why it should be any different with WotR.

    How about 150 lol.

Yeah, Mounted helps a little but the one pet and make it small rule is a good one.

    Small pets are good Scout/tanks.

Regill is absolutely based. I've never left him home no matter what, I can't imagine not having him in my party.

Hell, from what I've seen, he and Ember are probably the only truly alignment good non retard good companions - two sides of the same coin with Ember being the all forgiving saint, willing to redeem existence by carrying all its sins and Regill the reverse, merciless, unforgiving justice.
