Like honestly i get it that you want to take conventionally attractive character and then have her fucked up but if you want to own chuds go write Tumblr Blog

As you might have guessed: there is no Mireya. The bloodlust is pure Camellia. She's a mass murdering psychopath, and completely unapologetic about it. She NEEDS to kill and does not give a rats ass about spirits (even if they are the source of her magic) or the Worldwound. And no, killing on the field of battle just doesn't do anything for her. That's why you end the quest by letting ther gut her father, then all his servants. Her alignement get revealed then. To everyones absolute surprise it turns out to be CE :)

She is honestly not written as character but as Fuck you, like i get you might not find the community welcoming but you dont write one of the companions for romance STRETCHGOAL as fucked up as this, and with no good endings. Like YOU DONT AUTOFAIL PLAYER ROMANCE
At least shes original and brings something new to the table instead being another goody 2 shoes or just pretending to be evil

Tumblr is original ? check her writing ? Like The Whole LICKS HER LIPS INCONSPISIOUSLY*/S reads like some retarded idea of triggers and having several chapters worth of incidents showing that despite how fucked up she is she cares for her father to the point of being unable to continue ritual due to resemblance to her father only for the final quest being basically Massmurder of him RAILROADED THAT I STRESS is moment where you realize its Ryan Johnson subversion like for fucksake i actually fucking Like Wasteland 3 Psycho Companion and i tell you Fucking In Exile wrote their lunatic better.

BTW You just convinced me PIS is stupid with forbidding abortion.
We get it bro, you wanted to fuck the hot half elf borderline chick and turn her into a tradwife with the power of your dick. Guess you expectations were, how do you say, subverted. :troll:

nah i dont like Going from Fucked up evil character To Tumblr Porn Saturday Cartoon Villain by retarded tumbrlina with her being literally the only fucking romance companion that is Railroaded. but sure keep spouting crap, i mean we have principles here you can spout crap and nobody is going to go Adi Amin stating they can gurantee freedom of speech but not freedom after speech.

Killed a lich with grease today. Imagine: you're transcended mortality, you will never age, never weaken. You are perfectly eternal.

And you die because you fell down and couldn't get back up.

:negative:

Ahhhhh memories.

Grease shenanigans are great.

How do I get through the fortified door in Blackwater? Feel like I've been everywhere and done everything, including killing the boss. Dimensional Door might work, but no one in my current party has it. Any way to unlock the door?

EDIT: Figured it out, I'd missed the interaction button for the machine that builds the "key".

Mary Ewww is hardly an improvement on Mary Sue. Still one-dimensional. Female brain matures at 13. That’s what you get when you put chix in charge.

And again: Having exactly ONE option to damage an enemy AT ALL is bad design.
But that's not the case on any of the fights I have fought so far. While enemies have excessively high AC sometimes, there are ways to get very high attackbonuses, abilities that apply to touch AC instead, ways to flatfoot them to avoid dexterity bonuses (which can easily shave off 10-15AC on some bosses) and a variety of other ways.

Playful Darkness started with 68 AC, but it had no Truesight, wasn't immune to stat drain and had "low" will saves. Plenty of opportunities and weak spots to exploit, if you know how.

Man, you remind me of the /vrpg threads that imploded when Cam-Cam's romance ending got leaked. Bunch of simps massively butthurt that the power of muh dick didn't turn a completely psychotic killer into a loving housewife. I should make some time to read the wrath threads again, massive fun.

Edit: also learn some proper punctuation because goddam

Did you fucking read ? Railroading ? Entire time spent building up the importance of her father to her ? you would expect the chapter 5 quest to be decision point where you can have her fucked up but still with some limits or going Entirely overboard. but nope Railroad, BTW you realize with how pozzed this game is that Mod Tools are also dead on arrival ? Plus the fact that This and Daeran(which from some spoilers is also almost autofail) was stretchgoal ? just compare the Male and Female romances for stretchgoal. I dont give shit about Camelia i give shit about being able to see the exact places where it purposefully got altered to be pozzed.

If you build the training center, your troops will only deal 10% damage to enemy troops instead of the 110% like they should. This is likely why so many enemy units come off as near-invulnerable and hundreds of turns are needed just to win one encounter. I just thought I'd share this for those who don't know/didn't make the connection regarding the bug.

Bravo Owlcat.
This explains so much.

I think I've had enough.

Just got to Iz, met up with the character who got there first and shortly afterwards followed her off to fight some things in the next location.

No problem killing all of them, but when the last two die they just pop back up on full health health.

Looked through their description to see why they are doing that but there's no ability I can see that would cause it, so I have no idea how I'm supposed to kill them and end the fight.

Overall, I really enjoyed chapter 1-4, but 5 has been a massive letdown.

I don't know what's a bug and what's a feature and I can't tell if encounters are this way by design or if the game is messing up.

Well then excuse me, your original post made it sound like that was the only way to beat the demon. It certainly wouldn't surprise me, knowing the Magical Realms that Owlcat creates.

e: The other issue here is I certainly wouldn't assume that a high level demon has NO TRUESIGHT.

While she's certainly not the epitome of videogame writing, Camellia is one of the few character who make sense in this setting, same as Regill. They're consistent from start to finish, and they aren't the MCs lapdogs like Wenduag/Lann or a handful of other characters, but have their own motivations and reasons to go along with you as their party leader. They're in it for power or because you might help them in their goals, not the other way around. It's a nice change of pace compared to the companions in most other RPGs, where any partymember is basically a pet that no matter how despicable they are when you get them, you turn them into cute little puppies who follow your every word by the time you're done. It's even worse for characters you can romance, because video-game romances are almost always plain old wish fulfillment and power fantasies, not actual romances.

Camellia isn't the cutesy cuddling type, shes in it for her own goals and if she can get dicked along the way by the guy who grants her demi-god like powers, then shes happy for it. But based on the characters backstory and how things turn out, there's literally no reason for her to change her ways just because the MC wants her to. A character like hers doesn't fall in love with a guy that wants to turn her into his housewaifu, and sticking your dick in crazy is always gonna be an experience that can quickly turn south.

He had osteoarthritis!

Are you guys sure it was the spell and damage he recieved after he fell? Becuase it could have been falling damage. In other RPGs all your character has to do is descend the stairs two at a time, or jump into a ditch a few feet deep and your character shatters like a china doll. Maybe Owlcat are planning something we haven't seen before in an RPG for players and enemies and they're testing the water...

And i would be okay if that how she was written read my feedback would, i have problem with writers repeatedly making point of regarding her and her father where she cant even perform the human sacriface shit because the slave looks like her father only to literally gut him like fish in chapter 5, without any opportunity for you to interfere there, thats where it gets pozzed, notice how with other companions romance or not you get to influence them Ember Has several different endings from being freaking Child Crusade on her own to becoming apathetic and no longer caring about people etc while she gets railroaded, the point here she is written as fucked up monster but still human and then goes writers go full Ryan Johnson, its just bad writing. Like if they gave player way to influence her with her "good" ending basically ending with her still massmurdering people but trying to pick her targets more in Dexter like fashion yeah i accept that, but its the lack of actual player influence there, not her being twist on character dynamics.

how did you manage deskari in chapter 5 ? He's immune to death, stat drain, pretty much immune to everything , one hit kill everything , minions are also compltelty usless on this as expected. Was there some plot hole or items to make this more manageable ?

He was pretty hard. I believe that using a wall of summons as shield in TB mode while my party attacks him with legendary bows and I with negative eruption to damage him and heal my party while domain of the hungry flesh constant damages him and his locusts was the trick. Minions being complete useless, I disagree. The undead dragon which Lich mythic path gives to you is quite strong.

AAM4GdR.png

please don't mind me:

Yep. Game journalists that can't play IWD:EE in story mode...

Is "game journalists like" your unique argument?
The undead dragon ? its a weakling dying in one sec , i am sorry. Then i figure what went so wrong with the deskari fight. turns out the lich transformation was not giving any negative energy affinity , so the erupt spell was damaging my char as well.

Yeah, why bother with this "cold iron" or "spell penetration" nonsense? Just dig a buncha holes. Stuff like the invincible level draining ghost are just backup strategies for stuff that doesn't fit into the holes.

Her not changing like other characters suits her style, though. She never really gave a shit about the entire crusade, or other people besides herself. She grew up that way. Everyone just happens to be a tool for her own purpose. Nothing about that changes, the environment doesn't change, if anything, experiencing the abyss and the levels of torture and pain and violence inflicted there would probably only appeal to someone like her and make her crave it more once she returns to the "human" world.

Not everyone deserves a happy ending, and typically its the characters that don't get one that are the most consistent and make the most sense. I doubt people would care this much if she wasnt initially portrayed as a potential romance option and the stereotypical cute half-elf one at that. I also bet you that most people would wanna romance Ember despite her being essentially an autistic 9y old child. But the game made the effort to have the characters act independently, which allows for a wider choice of characters, and makes them disappear or re-appear at certain moments throughout the game. It's why I think the cast of companions is pretty solid, especially for an Evil playthrough, which tend to lack good companion options. Having companions stick to their convictions despite whats happening around them (or exactly because of it) shows strength of character, and I personally enjoy that Regill doesn't lose his rigorous military attitude or that Cam doesn't stop being a murdering sociopath. Some characters you can influence and your choices affect their development, but having every character fall within that category seems pretty damn boring to me.

I will mantain that dragging plotpoint over several chapters only to go PSYCHE is bad writing Its the same stupid shit as with the source of your powers but atleast there you get opportunity to mindwhammy the crazy weirdo into thinking of you as her son and get godhood out of the deal. Once again im not arguing about happy ending but about literally being unable to affect character, Like legitimately what other romance is there that you are unable to affect and influence ? Im not expecting to flip her aligment. you would have point if other characters in romance had locked ending but as you said its stereotypical half elf one that gets it locked, If it was genuinely written as that and written well it would be fine but the Ryan Esque contempt and HEHE PSYCHE neckbeards smell from the writing is rancid and pretty obvious THATS MY PROBLEM, not the writting itself but that i can smell the pozzed intention and goal behind it and it taints the writing itself.

so, you Kingmaker hyped fanboys that never learned your lesson, is the honeymoon over yet? :)

im kinda interested in their next kickstarter since i want to see if they will follow Disney Starwars trend with drop with 3 movie/game. That might be reason for them planning to switch genres though

Hotfix for Windows and Mac

Crusaders!
We’ve just uploaded a hotfix (1.0.2g for Windows and 1.0.2f for Mac) for the following issues:
  • Difficulty settings were resetting to default after the 1.0.2e patch - fixed;
  • It was possible to loot the same corpses multiple times - fixed;
  • In the crusade mode, the Necromancy effect only spawned the undead units if there were none in your army - fixed.
