1994 was the swan song for the Commodore Amiga, as Commodore itself went bankrupt that year, but there were nonetheless a few last good Amiga-original games released:
  • Beneath a Steel Sky
  • Cannon Fodder 2
  • Dreamweb
  • Ishar III: The Seven Gates of Infinity
  • Liberation: Captive II

System Shock, TES Arena, Heretic, XCOM, and Master of Magic are the big ones. All of them still play well today; Arena's controls are a bit awkward but very simple when you take ten minutes to master them. System Shock's controls are a bit shit but the Enhanced Edition completely remedies that.

I like Warcraft 1, it's one of the only RTS games that isn't a major fucking bore to play these days. It's very simple and basic, like a flash game almost, but that simplicity makes it a pretty straightforward experience, and the relatively low squad size and map size means that the tedious "spam a ton of units then trudge around the fog of war looking for the enemy base" core gameplay of RTS games is less bloated than in later games.

Battle Isle II is still EXTREMELY playable (I replayed it recently, and 1994).
I agree with you with UFO Defense. It aged. If anything, Terror from the Deep is better.

Heretic & System Shock may deserve an honorary mention, not very playable anymore

Missing from your list : Tie Fighter, Warcraft 1 is 1994. Both very playable still, particularly Warcraft 1
