Torchlight 3 is an mmo that’s been in development hell for a few years and changed names a couple of times.

Think it is worth getting a decently powerful PC for the next couple of years?
I intended to buy one before all of this virus crap happened.

Depends if you like playing shitty AAA games like cvv! The only AAA game I can think of that I would try in the future is TES6 and that's probably three to four years off at a conservative estimate. A couple of years ago I got an AMD 2600x with a 580 GPU which plays everything I want to play. With the release of the new PS5 specs I really don't plan on upgrading for another few years. Maybe a Zen 3 or 4 depending on price and hopefully AMD comes out with a decent GPU by then to match Nvidia.

Looking to buy a new comp, but looking at the prices and then what is coming out... I have a hard time justifying my purchase. Usually don't have any problems with buying new PC stuff, but now. AAA is basically dead, and what else do you need a monster PC for?

Pretty decent line up. AAA games will, as usual, be multiplatform releases. If you have a decent rig already it's definitely not the time to upgrade (but you should do it eventually, 4k on 50+ inches is amazing)

I'll never play at 4k. 1440p at most. Also, I'm not a wall-eyed salmon and sit two to three feet from my PC so a 50" screen would be pointless.

Yeah, I mean, I'm on an old i7 with 1060 GPU, so almost anything would be a big upgrade. But still it hasn't failed me playing new games. I guess Cyberpunk will be the new benchmark but not sure how interested I am in that...
