Isn't a pile of useless mechanics and plot shit.

Still a bit vague.

They added a plotline that requires you to defend it, they added interactions with the people visiting, and they added descriptions 'n shit to the adventures.

It's still side content, and I don't know if that's sufficient to rescue it (that would be a subjective call anyway), but they did do major work on it.

Did they add random people into parts of it so it seems alive now?

I wonder if I'll finally be able to load a small shack level faster than I get from my desktop to Novigrad.

I can't wait to play this. I haven't started part 1 yet... I guess should get back to the base game and try to defeat that damned green dragon...

I guess you're talking about the
Adra Dragon?
It's fucking hard. I started going to The White March now and will take care of him when I reached max. level.

You should be able to beat her around level 10 without too much trouble

But I'm shit at combat. Really.

I remember google and some people here recommending petrify traps, Gaze of the Adragan, Maelstrom scrolls and Firebug.
So I'll try it with all that.

Also, scrolls of paralysis, anything that causes charm or confusion, summons. Scatter your party and try to get it to breathe on your tank if possible. Even better, use boots of speed or other ways to run like a rabbit and dodge its breaths. And don't forget Prayer against Fear, you can now get it in handy scroll form also.

The Adra Dragon is a bitch though, because it is one of those fights that is vastly out of proportion when it comes to difficulty. There are a few fights in the game like that (Raedric or whoever comes to mind) where they lull you with a bunch of easy combat and then throw some ghastly shit at you out of nowhere.

You can have a go at it during the White March? That's awesome! I couldn't take care of the fucker even just before the endgame. If I can try after that... My party will be having some dragon stew soon

I remember suffering a lot with that dragon. My party was wiped time after time, I was on the brink of leaving it alive and choosing the diplomatic solution. But during my last try, a potent paralyzing spell (I don't remember the name) hit it and after being paralized, my fighters sliced up the fucker. That time paralize gave a 4x damage bonus, it had been nerfed since then AFAIK.

That's Petrified, the tougher version of Paralyzed. It says here that the damage multiplier was nerfed to x2 since version 1.05, but I don't know how up to date the wiki is and if there haven't been more changes since.

If you do, another branch opens up which lets you learn something that'll let you come back and kill it more easily later.

That's good to know, I'll try it in my next playthrough.
