Needs a "Click to re-collapse" after you expand it. or :troll:.

Editing is a disaster too now. How can those morons consider this an update?

Also I've noticed that there is a typing delay now in the reply box. This is even more noticeable when editing a message.

Also, reduce the border whitespace between quote blocks.

Then maybe remove the faint boxes around quotes -- the indentation levels do a fine job of showing depth without the borders

Can't you make it a toggled option in the user preferences?

If you don't get rid of it then please please make it an option. Just Ffuuu please get rid of it. I mean just look at this shit:

Erm... Why are those images in quotes in the first place?

In this case it may be a bit nonsensical, but imagine a let's play thread or a big multi quote OP where you have to expand about 15 of these. Makes sense with spoiler tags, not so much here.

I looked into doing the bottom-aligned stuff. Seems possible but would require some JavaScript jiggy.

So I just removed the quote expanding completely instead.

Hmm. Would you consider bringing back image shrinking in quotes to compensate for that? It sure is a pain in the ass when people quote huge images.

I can count one one hand the number of truly egregious abuses of the quote function I've seen in the last few years. Maybe I don't browse GD enough?
