That twitter conversation that EG mentioned is the fakest thing ever.

Notice how perfect Spencer's responses are, straight from some advertisement or PR release, and how much of a walking caricature that supposed angry Xbox fan is (even his handle is "CrapGamer"). But fanboys are still swallowing it and using it as a proof of how wise MS is and how they are above platform exclusivity.

Looks like Microsoft found a new bitch to promote their spyware.

Never if it actually uses DX12.

Related to Windows Store, this is just too hilarious not to share: http://www.dsogaming.com/news/gears...revealed-dx12-only-8gb-ram-quad-core-minimum/
Look at those hardware requirements. Now look at the screenshots from Ultimate Edition. If that is not enough, compare them to random HQ screenshots from original Gears of War PC port.

I googled him and got a bunch of "crapgamer exposed" stuff as well as someone calling him out on racism (maybe he's not so bad????). So that's a real person but likely he's twitting from a script.

Not always, but for the recent games yeah.

M$ pays the bills, M$ decides. As simple as that.

In an ideal world they'd be making more ambitious games with full creative control, just like... uh... that one studio once did.

    Before they went bankrupt.

    Decline, decline never changes.

Why on earth would we need these gay live action movies in the first place?

  18. Because you just know how people will scream and cry that the game would ask to take up 100GB (50GB for game files, 50GB for umcompressed 4K videos).

Well, Alan Wake received its share of lukewarm reviews and sales weren't as good as expected (we are yet to see how this is going to do commercially) but they kept going.

Everybody knows professional scores mean nothing when the game is gud, and everything when the game is shit.

I actually liked Age of Empires Online. It was a nice game to play with the (ex)wife. But then they started to fuck it up with the patches, making it even more "accessible" and eventually killed they it (took it offline). That game is gone forever, which feels a bit weird to be honest. There is currently no way to play the game, none at all. I miss it a little.
