Please post about the unique Wasteland 2 reactions you received in this thread so we may cleanly determine, without all that combat, writing-quality, and other miscellaneous stuff getting in the way, whether or not they fulfilled their goals of making one of the most reactive games ever.

Insert clever insult here
Go to AG Center first. Go to the basement to find the fungicide but do not pick it up. Go back up and talk to the scientist woman. Matt transforms into a pod person and you have to kill him. Angela and Dr Rose both accuse you of being lazy and incompetent and leave the party.

In Highpool, the NPC Bergin seemed to be starting to like my group but then I freed the prisoner in town and he wouldn't do anything but whine about that. Even after I finished off the Wrecking Crew at their base - a quest that he gave me - he wouldn't let me tell him about it.

If Jamie the robot gets destroyed, go back to his previous owners and they'll talk about "maybe it's better off that he got scrapped".

Anyone checked what happens when you take Skinner to his transformed son in AG Center fungus caves?

On the other hand, I also freed the prisoner and he never once mentioned it to me. Something odd goin' on there.

So like a real person, he was butthurt over something else I did but used my freeing of the prisoner as an excuse to complain.

Maybe he didn't like that I had agreed to help is competitor get elected.

Reactivity is just the dumbed down version of choices and consequences since C&C is too complicated and has beent aken over by the mainstream. THANKS BIO.

If Highpool gets destroyed and the water production is significantly reduced throughout the region, why do semi-organized groups like Red Scorpions not push out and take control of the various oasis locations in the world. That is the kind of reactivity I was expecting. That way, if I don't save Highpool, I will have to face that fact many times when I try to get water, heck it even leads itself into a nice quest line to claim control of the water resources from red scorpions by the rangers. A quest line that would totally not happen if Highpool was saved..
I would hope that the 'most reactive game ever made' would be full of stuff like this.

AG center , save julio from his rabbits . So i proceed to tame them one by one with animal whisperer skills, success , julio doesnt considers himself as saved and keep whining . Quest is bugged and unsolvable.Could have expected him to be grateful fro not killing them instead. From then i keep multiple saves and very wary of exploring on my ownas it seems if you are not exactly doing what the devs expected you from it may bugs out and punish you.
Its an ok game but i am bit disapointed by the lackluster combat and few ways to do thing , a bit too railroaded.

Save Jessie from the bomb planted on her bike by the Atchisons. Use the fact that Casey nearly killed his own daughter with one of his own bombs as a way to convince him to end the war.

I did this and Julio thanked me for sparing the rabbits, but I'm not sure if he gave me anything. He just runs off somewhere and I can't find him in the infirmary or where you meet him by the dish.

Anyone checked what happens when you take Skinner to his transformed son in AG Center fungus caves?

He freaks out a bit after the fight and begs you to take him away. I don't think there's a real consequence.

The game is very reactive, almost everyone in the citadel has a comment on the current situation, as do party members regardless of how late game they are, I've had instances of returning to old locations to get a lot of new dialogue because of my party composition. I'm not sure how much more there is as there is a lot of locations, and honestly the travel system and walking isn't the most streamlined.(It can be downright tedious.)

A big example for me would be Red refusing to continue talking to me in Damonta because of the death of his brother after I broke him out of prison. This is a very optional thing and I could have let him go, so, it's minor c&c as well.

All in all very reactive as advertised; Little bits of reactivity exist in an extreme amount, big reactivity is here and there, and there is definitely c&c.

There is an "introductory cut scene" for the mad monks suicide nuke. Can be skipped by shooting the raider before the "scene" triggers. The monk and his escort actually have dialogue afterwards.

My two companions from the beginning of the game, Vulture's cry and sixpackshortcuts have been reactive throughout the entire game, lots of dialogue during quests and in specific areas. It's pretty cool, helps shape the character's personality outside of their bios.

I was pretty happy wiping it off the face of the earth. I imagine the most reasonable ending is going with the DBM, never did it though, as the faction does not interest me.

I encountered a bug with this on my second playthrough. I ignored her and Ralphy at the playground, but later when I encountered her in the Atchinson camp she said "thanks for saving me from that bomb!"

The DBM are just an upjumped bandit army. Titan's Peace is at least a working peace.
