There's nothing to show yet. Most interesting part of this is the name of the sutdio. Which

We’re currently working on an AAA, dark fantasy RPG – the first title of a planned saga. And though we’re dying to tell you more, that’s all we can share at this point. Frustrating, we know!

But… Let’s talk about what we want the game to be, how we’re approaching making it and what we’re striving to achieve.

1
we consider games to be a form of art – and real art has ambition. That we have in spades. We want to tell stories which will shake you to the core, draw you in, make you second guess your instincts. We want to create a truly immersive narrative, an experience you will remember – and continue to recall – long after the credits roll.

2

we believe games must be fun. We aim to create meaty, dynamic gameplay systems, which will bring a breath of fresh air to RPG games. You will immediately understand how they work – and then spend hours playing to create the best build.

3
we think games should make the most of interactivity, offer you as much freedom as possible. Our goal is to give you plenty of ways to solve a problem and then let you have a go at it. There will be no right or wrong way to play the game – it’ll be up to you to decide what is your way.

Isn’t the guy in charge the one who directed Cyberpjnk and was accused of being an asshole who didn’t listen to anyone’s critiques of his vision? Yeah I doubt he’ll do any better here.

I bet the sick fucker gets hard at the thought of players boning his self insert in Witcher 3.
To be fair, he is good at his job. Animations in W3 were a highlight, especially with the game basically being a 60 hour long cutscene.

It looks like vampire passed out while doing his epic mountain slide of death and the guards are watching in complete disbelief as he hits the ground.

Hiring talent from pre-established veteran circles can also create challenges when it comes to diversifying a team. This is a concern for Tomaszkiewicz, and he recognises that the team has a way to go with diversity. He also encourages us to check up on the studio's promise to improve.

"The core of the team are people we knew and worked with before, and while this team has many strengths, it needs to be more diverse," he acknowledges. "For now, our team is just over a dozen people, but we plan to grow to above 80 over the next few years.

"As we hire more developers, we want to make sure that we create a diverse company, with many different voices and perspectives."

Might be just me but this kind of seems like a red flag, as "diverse" is way too laden these days.

It might be just a PR talk to tick all the necessary checkboxes so that the gaming press will pick up their news stories.

He was director of Witcher 3 and second director of CP2077..

What if he was the good one who saw what they were doing in CP2077 was shit but nobody listened to him.

Possible. However, there would be no positive aspects to it. For one, they haven't done anything and only exist. And contrary to what too many individuals on (anti)social media think, existing isn't anything worthwhile at all. Secondly, if they are looking for people to join the team and did it because of that, the diversity bs is the wrong way and attracts the wrong people. The Cyberpunk 2077 teaser trailer was a good one but obviously they don't have the resources for it, so some good old "veterans wanting to create a more focused/small-scale game, looking for other people to join etc" would have sufficed.

Rebel Wolves' goals for its debut project are well-defined too. The team shares joint expertise in single-story, narrative-focused games, and that's the genre it's aiming for.

"We want to recreate the feeling of a pen and paper RPG session, where your options seem limitless, where the world reacts to your choices, where every decision matters."

:hmmm:

There isn't really a contradiction. The "seemingly limitless options" of PnP translate to sidequests in a CRPG. The "single-story, narrative focus" of a CRPG is the equivalent of the main campaign in a PnP game.
