We will implement fixes where the top half is also cut off, and no amount of clicks will play the video.

We shall then spend half an eternity debating on the forums: "What is 'whole'?"

Seems like a better usage of our time overall.

reddit uses separate streams for sound and video
your best bet is to simply rip it using something like youtube-dl and reuploading to streamable or similar
