It's Saturday, so please Twiglard close the poll and send me the results.

I'll do all the graph & math stuff and post the results - but the butthurt squad doesn't need to worry, I won't filter anything and everyone will have full access to the votes, so you can shame everyone who didn't play KOTC2 The Impregnation of the Elves.

After all the drama, I'll be very disappointed if there isn't some degenerate filth in the top 5.

Elden Ring will probably have spot #1. I am curious where King Arthur: Knight's Tale ends up (as a tactical game with RPG elements). Everything else is trivia for me.

People keep mentioning this King Arthur game, I don't know how it flew underneath my radar. How is it customization wise, to what extents can you customize your party members and such?

Thanks to everyone who organized / implemented this. I think the result at least shows a clear benefit for doing this as a codex-only vote.

I suspect place 5 is a porn game.
I suspect a great deal of trolling in that spot 3% of codexers voted 92% positive for it.

Possible, but I expected the trolls would go for that Super Animal Lesbian RPG or whatever it was called.

Tacgnol I'd rather pay Pierre €40 than pay €80 (that's the price over here) for newest AAA open world action RPG #752.

For all the codexers complaining about decline, and no cool games coming, there are a lot of codexers that ignore good games. This isn't just related to Knights of the Chalice II.

I like KOTC 2 as well. I backed it on KS for much more than it's being sold now.

But Pierre's pricing was never realistic, especially with a large part of his pitch being community-created content (and his very fair royalty split idea for premium modules).

If you want to get people learning and using the (great) toolset, you have to get bums on seats.
On that, I can agree. But where is the sweet spot for pricing? €10? €20?
Late post, but doing the Rimworld “always 30 bux with a few bux off at sale” would have been a good price point. 20 bux…nah, kotc2 is worth more.

I can't in full honesty bring myself to call Augury of Chaos a good game. I rated it 3.
The fact that you can play a dogshit game like Elex and shill it like the developers are holding your wife and kids hostage, but complain about a fantastic game like KotC II...I read your review, and while I found myself agreeing with almost every criticism you made with the exception of the issues that have been patched out/fixed, it blows my mind that you had such a bad time with it. Even with all of its flaws, the combat system is so damn good that the game manages to be great despite them.

Darth shit all over Elex 2 despite liking the first part, shows he has integrity, whether you like his tastes or not, his criticisms are usually well reasoned

Yeah I wouldn't say Darth is a bad dude at all, it's just that sometimes his opinions are absolutely bizarre.
