It came to my knowledge that the race between RPG Codex and RPGWatch (which is actually a race between us and HiddenX) is in dire straits. According to the donation page on RPG Watch, user HiddenX will double the pathetic donations of the RPG Watch userbase to guarantee a total amount of $10.000, putting the Codex at a severe disadvantage.
Donation Doubling active: The amount you donate will be doubled until we reach $10,000. As a result the amount added to your name will be twice the amount you donated. Thanks to HiddenX for making this possible.

Some already despaired, calling all efforts of ours futile. Meanwhile, when studying our own donation page I can't help but notice the absence of a large number of well-known community members. At first I was tempted to make the lifes of you maggots miserable, ban some of those, watchwitz others. Instead, I've decided to lead by example and donated another $200. For the glory of the Codex.

So I think it's time some of you asked themselves whether you want the dick-less whiners on the Watch to prevail in this particular case. They may have HiddenX, but we have the numbers. It's about time the Codex as a whole wakes up.

OBEY!

Don't forget, if you donate at least $25 you'll get a download copy of the game. See it as a pre-order.

Hmm... "Donate and we will let Fretty back in /gd/ so his latest alt will not bother to shit up normal discussions"? That might just work.

sorry, i care too little for rpgwatch to even become aware of what they're doing. i've read this thread, but my brain just didn't register the information. as soon as i've clicked "post reply", i'll have forgotten ever writing this.

Just ask Larian how many trolls will be named. They say something like top 15-20 donnors, and we'll see a massive battle of money to reach/stay at at that point.

Not sure about that, I would wager that to get that high is prohibitively expensive for many people at this point. I mean it's at least 300 bucks to get in the top ten, but only 70 to gei in the top thirty. I would personally favour the pool of names idea (with some preference to higher donors preferable, but not necessary).
