Are you both using Steam Spy for all your data, or is there a way to poll Ars Technica's Steam Gauge for up to date info? I can't find a query interface for Steam Gauge (not to be confused with My Steam Gauge which will analyze the value of your account.. no thanks).

The high number of sales doesn´t mean that a game is good, though it can show sometimes the stupidity of a gamer (I do not exclude myself).
There are games out there that deserve more attention, but do not get the sales numbers.
My heart rejects these kind of numbers but my head will work with it!
