i'm not really sure what the point of RPGHQ existing is, as someone who likes sperging out about blobbers and iso-RPGs, and saying homophobic slurs. I've never particularly cared about black people or transsexuals being in video games or whatever. As far as I can tell HQ is just Codex with even more culture war bullshit which while it's funny to read Polish men yelling about the Turkish plot to ruin RPGs with feminism the first time it gets old the 100th time you've read it, so Codex it is I guess.

Years of simp squad attacking other posters, other posters firing back and getting warned/banned/censured/driven off by the staff for not taking shit from their sacred lolcows. DU admitted he liked having Atlet around to enrage people on his list for example. End result lots of active old timers left over the years even before a sizeable chunk of them went to the HQ.

Just for kicks the group the staff spent years white knighting for mostly left to various discords pretty much the very next day.

No one good left over the theodora drama, just schizo losers on both sides mostly.

I've never visited the HQ, but I became a codexer via tacticular cancer (RIP PBUH). So the RPG focus of the HQ isn't really interesting to me.

Meanwhile, while the codex still has a decently active forum for strategy and tactical games due to the legacy of tacticular cancer.
