I got the game for 5 potatoes. The atmosphere is excellent but the combat is not stellar imho. I don't know yet, maybe it will click with me later.

Anyway, I looked at the developer page and I saw this:

Encouraged by RUINER’s success - 9/10 Steam score and enthusiastic reception from players and media worldwide - we're now working on a new FPP co-op experience. We’re certain it’ll bring a huge smile and adrenaline rush to all RUINER fans and blow the minds new to our creations.

Their facebook page is filled with hiring announcements but to be honest I'm not looking forward for a co-op experience.

This is a chore.

There are some enemies with yellow shield (exo mercs!?) which are simply a pain to kill.

Also everybody dashes like crazy ... to be honest I no longer know what is happening on the screen.

I'm too old for this shit.

It's a bad game. Basically no redeeming qualities. It was unfairly compared to Hotline Miami at release but it's nothing like it.

The endgame was mostly a breeze, when you have a full set of skill points to assign to anything. About halfway through there was a ridiculous difficulty spike that almost made me ragequit. I forget which section, but it’s one of those those goddamn fights that go on for 8 rounds with no stopping/saving. Still, it got me minmaxing my skills and actually playing smart and trying new tactics. It was fun enough for 5 bucks on sale, but it’s also short as hell, with repetitive (but beautiful) environments, so pay no more than that if you’re curious.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture
My memory of this was that the 'stun on dash' skill almost totally breaks the game. Dash, stun, wallop was how all the second half of my playthrough went. I quite enjoyed it though.

I decided to revisit the game and I just finished it on Normal difficulty (5h).

The game is mediocre or good for whatever it is ... but the art is excellent. They took inspirations from Blame!, Akira and Ghost in the Shell.

It's cyberpunk porn. Glad that I've finished it and now I can remove it from my backlog.

Right, this post received negative ratings and was send here. Mods didn't knew that it was due to uploader, mostly.
Also - there is no thread for his videos, only one dedicated to his mess that backfired in his face like Taco Bell dinner.

Also - he might review Ultima Underworld 1+2 before goint for Bioshock games, mentioning that "they already have a lot of reviews and analysis out there", seems like people are not interested in obscure old stuff, not realizing that making videos takes some time so why bother with familiar crap everyone knows?

i don't link to kotaku

Kotaku has learned from sources familiar with the situation that layoffs have happened at Reikon Games, an independent studio located in Poland. The developer previously released Ruiner in 2017 and has been teasing its next game over the last year or so.

Multiple employees have publicly posted about the layoffs on social media and LinkedIn. According to sources, about 60 to 70 people, or around 80% of the total company were laid off on January 23. Most told Kotaku that it was sudden and shocking

Ruiner was released in 2017. They fucked around for almost 7 years without releasing anything. Retards.
