Mabinogi is considered on of the true sucessors of Ultima Online
Images of fucking :decline:

ITZ is definitely upon us, these are the end nights etc.

Bros, I just realized something terrible. If they take over EA, the people responsible for that would be able to make a new Ultima Online like that and nobody could stop them.

I'm not sure it's as much about brand loyalty as it is about everything eventually succumbing to greater powers. The overlords are grinning in anticipation.

Biggest assets of EA are nice brands, especially for people in their late 20s or 30s like all Bullfrog titles, Westwood, Origin and other absorbed companies. Not even mentioning "new shit" form all time codex favourite Bioware. So I think that Nexon just wants to establish a base in NA&EU with takeovers because their products from Asia won't win western consumers hearts. No Dragon Age MMO crap, I think. It would be a suicide. Simple enlarging market.

Just a shame those brands stopped being nice after their acquisition. Or, at least that's what I remember . . .

Jade Empire Online?

Aaaaah yeeeesssssss. I anticipate some delicious butthurt from certain members of the Codex if a Korean firm ends up publishing a tasteful yellowface MMO :obviously: :smug:
Actually that would be awesome, I enjoy black-entertainment-as-modern-minstrel-shows. Just as long as there aren't any whites voicing the not-Chinese.

Btw, if any of you here are aspiring child molesters, Maple Story is the game for you. I tried the game many years ago when it went F2P and I remember the first person that I befriended was a 4 year old indian that was learning the most basic things about computers. I felt like I had to use velvet gloves not to inadvertently scar him for the rest of his life he was so young and innocent. It was also uncomfortable and I got the hell out of there. Perhaps not coincidentally, Maple Story has the worse community I've ever come across.

some kids (toddlers?) are really smart, some parents are really batshit retarded

that's one of the possible outcomes of combining the two, I think

I don't know if I should be terrified or glad of these news, perhaps both.
