The good news is that if they end drafted for a war with Russia, if they survive, with that experience, they might make a game with good shooting mechanics.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R already has some of the best shooting mechanics of any game out there. Distance affects your bullets which is more than you can say for 99% of shooter games where it's just point and click.

I loved the METRO games but STALKER was even better, I found it more brutal and the realism factor just added to the overall experience

Clear Sky's gunplay is the most satisfying ever bc you are legit elated whenever your bullets actually hit anything.

Good riddance to Stalker 2. I hope Sergay Grigorovich gets shelled too.

Let's be honest, with Sergay's record he probably did a runner a week ago. Knowing him he probably owes all the devs a year pay and did a runner with the retirement money as well.

Russian troops are attacking Ukraine
Do not stand aside and help those in need.
As of today, the Russian Federation has officially declared war on Ukraine. Our country woke up with the sounds of explosions and weapons fire, but is ready to defend its freedom and independence, for it remains strong and ready for anything. The future is unknown, but we hope for the best, are ever sure of our Armed Forces and our belief in Ukraine.

We thus address all of our colleagues in the gaming industry — players, bloggers or anyone who sees this post in their newsfeed: share this, do not stand aside and help those in need.

Special aid account to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Transfers are possible from all over the globe.

Through pain, death, war, fear and inhuman cruelty, Ukraine will persevere. As it always does.

Yeah, Metro never felt right to me.
The "Realism" felt more annoying than substantial, and each installment got more popamole and scripted than the last.

2033 was alright, Last Light's gunplay felt really floaty and there were some annoying parts, Exodus had better gunplay but it had an annoying habit of forcing the player to sit through long, unskippable cutscenes instead of letting the player play the damn game.
