Err I just got an email from Shrapnel about this recently and it sounded interesting:

Scallywag: In the Lair of the Medusa

Shrapnel Games is now taking pre-orders on the upcoming Rogue-like dungeoncrawl, Scallywag: In the Lair of the Medusa. From now until August 26th, heroes of the land can take advantage of the special pre-order discount being offered and purchase Scallywag: In the Lair of the Medusa for only $24.95. That's $5.00 off from its normal retail price of $29.95. Best of all, besides enjoying the great savings, by pre-ordering you are guaranteed to be one of the first to experience the game when it ships!

Scallywag: In the Lair of the Medusa is the upcoming game of randomized dungeon exploration and monster whacking, developed by Chronic Reality and published by Shrapnel Games. Scallywag: In the Lair of the Medusa will be available for Windows-based PCs, and can be pre-ordered directly at:

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
The features sound good and the screenshots look good enough, and for a roguelike they're even gorgeous.
Thanks for the info, I'll be considering to try that one out.
