That's great but I'm on like page 25 and I don't want to ask every person per every game. And some of them look good =(

X-Plane 10 scenery sucks.
yeah... typical flysim beauty shots at high altitude and far away from stuff that needs detailed modelling... wonder what it looks like at low altitudes and over cities

Well, to be fair, X-Plane is all monocle about flight modeling and relegates scenery to just "the ground". Roads are fairly accurate, but buildings are generic. MS FSX has the scenery side of things with a shit flight model, so it's one or the other depending on preference. There is some pretty neat looking scenery available and in the works, but nowhere near the level of availability as FSX.

And besides, they're flight simulators. You want high detailed ground scenery, go play Skyrim.

meh... i fly small planes and ultralights in flight simulators, which means i get to watch the scenery from up close all the time... and i hate to not be able to fly by sight, because everything looks the same

yeah, pretty (as in: really really good work... apart from the silly car driving stuff)... but not part of the base package and mostly payware... i'd like that for the 50 bucks they charge for the base game, instead of paying 15 more for every bit of scenery and hoping it doesn't break anything else

Eh, well, it's basically the same with FSX. Passable OOTB, much better with addons. The entire country of France is available at that detail for free, but it's over 300 gb. Those high rez photo textures are huge.

For the record, I didn't quit. I just ran around the room in circles and let my healbot contribute for me.
