If I didn't tell Babitz to set group markers on there would've be a shitton of friendly fire accidents. Fighting underwater plays very differently. You pretty much fire at fogged figures who come at you from any direction and you spot them from 30m tops.

you get that on some story quests if you go in solo. it increases your morale (HP) and power (MP) quite considerably (so much so, that some quests are actually easier solo), so you have a chance without a group.

But yes, that game seems to have quite some LP-worthy material. I lol'd when I found a rifle called "Mauser 98k of agility", a K98k rifle that gives +1 to agility.
