Now Sega (SGAMY) is undergoing another revamp. After years of developing its franchises, including the still-popular Sonic the Hedgehog, across all platforms, the company is targeting the global PC games market. Sega has been investing more heavily in the PC gaming space of late. The company recently acquired Relic Entertainment and its World War II-based real-time strategy (RTS) franchise, Company of Heroes. Sega published Company of Heroes 2 on June 25.

Valkyria Chronicles and Yakuza ports when?

Yeah, this is actually old news. They've been fapping at the amount of money they get off of Steam for a while now. First time I've seen it declared officially, though.

I'd love to send that article back in time to 2003 or so and shove it in the face of the "PC gaming is dead" retards.

I forsee a ton of mobile/PC cross-platform games in the decade to come. Better than console ports I guess.

I'm amused that the "future of gaming" for the moment is leaving consoles out, whether those predictions come true or not.

Let's hope some of that steam cash will be invested in order to release some games bug free. Sega ports are a disaster.

Seems like many companies are moving in that direction after this past year E3 and how the market has been growing consistently every year.
