Well then, guess it's time to start spilling the beans:

I finished the campaign in 13 hours.

And with that blatant piece of trorr info that will leave you all wailing in despair, I'll head to bed because I'm kinda tired, so I'll post more stuff later this day, probably in some 9-10 hours :troll:

As much as gaudaost can be an annoying fuck, he does have a point. People that invested in these kickstarters early, especially with significant amounts of cash, are going to be inclined to convince themselves and other people that the game is good and worth the money, and play down any downsides. It's just the way people work, and it's been apparent in the extreme enthusiasm in the comments section of pretty much any videogame kickstarter.

Good thing our reviewer didn't pledge. So you can trust him to be completely objective. In fact, when I asked him whether he'd like an early review copy, he pretty much went "sure, whatever, I'll take it... maybe some time I'll get around to writing something, I dunno..."

As a matter of fact... why the fuck did we give that asshole our only review copy, Infinitron?

It'll be better than the crap we've been getting for the last 10 years, that's for sure.

Because otherwise it would probably go to some shadowrun fanboi that is just going to shower it with praise. Roxor is critical as fuck and also never played the Shadowrun tabletop or videogames so he's perfect to write a review.

It can go both ways, peoples' (unrealistic) hopes and dreams can be crushed as well.

Bought off by the developers themselves? I'm disappointed, Codex.

It's a tablet game, sort of akin to Fire Emblem and people are primed to treat is as a cornerstone of incline. Being thankful that I'm a virgin to the Shadowrun universe (it does seem rather like standard idealistic commie stuff) or else I might fall into the trap as well.

In communist russia we don't have fucking trolls and elves running around and stealing shit. Anyway, how's the game? Overhyped shit, decent but still overhyped, or actually good?

Can they really make something like the Genesis game? It just doesn't add up.

Have you played the Genesis game lately? It's really like an inch deep. They used the basic ruleset they implemented to stretch the holy hell out of the content and it's still like a six or seven hour game.

The game has a lot of environments, assets, and random assignments. It still seems like way too much for a little piece of DLC.

What the hell are you blabbering about?

The setting simply doesn't catch my fancy, in laymans terms. Using "EVAL CORPRATIONZ" as a catchphrase is almost insta turnoff, and no amount of twisting perspectives in fanboy defense is going to alter my opinion.
