Somehow they found out it was me and they banned me since I was UNFAIRLY banned before.

Supposedly, Summer is secretly reading threads here in Codex as well, and it would only make sense to assume there are more retarded Big Brother wannabe mods who scan Codex to spot accounts like yours.

I dunno man. I think it would be more productive if the staff spent less time reading the Codex trying to James Bond out the latest alt on ESF and spent more time MAKING THE FUCKING GAME.

But, c'est la vie, je pense.

I hope that was in jest, otherwise it'd have to be the least intelligent post I've ever seen you make. Mods, "making the game"?

As far as i recall the Codex is banned at the ESF because is has links to porn and shock sites and is generally unsuitable for minors *g*
Which is a valid excuse. Another question would be, why their forum is for 13+ years and Oblivion for 16+ (iirc)
Or why they banned that Star Trek site...

That was my stupid mistake then. I thought about that after I posted my critique of the interview here, but I didn't think that anyone would actually take the time to wade through these posts to find former UNFAIRLY BANNED TES members.

Then again, if it's that jerk-off that banned my originial account UNFAIRLY than I wouldn't be surprised at all.... and actually, it wasn't Summer. She actually was nice to me.

Well, the forum rating was there quite a while before Oblivion even came out, and the 16+ rating of Oblivion was really not their choice.

As to the Startrek site, allow me to quote myself here in a pm I sent to the head admin of that site;
Well, to start off, let me give you the official statement;
"Linking to this site is not permitted due to prior infractions of our forum rules and Bethesda's terms and conditions."

Considering the abuse you've given to devs and moderators who either work for bethesda, or volunteer their spare time to moderator the forums here. both on this site and on your own, and on your podcasts, And considering your general disruptiveness and negativity, bethesda has decided to remove any and all links to the STG.

Any post containing it has been removed, and made after today will be edited, the same goes for signatures.

I'm sure Bethesda is very sorry it had to come to this, but they believe you left them very little choice.

The pod casts are freely available for download for anyone who wishes to listen to them. There's negativity, but it's most definitely NOT disruptive or unreasonable negativity. There's some heavy criticism of the Star Trek: Legacy video game published by Bethesda, but that's hardly grounds for black-listing an entire bank of customers and potential customers, a vast number of which have already purchased the game.

The site administrators have said time and time again that the disruptive and threatening behavior exhibited by those members are NOT in affilation with the site as a whole. There are people from the Elder Scrolls Forums who come on to THIS site and make the same threats, behave in the same general trend of retardedness, and try to stir up the same magnitude of trouble as the black sheep of the Trek site that Bethsoft is using as an excuse to blacklist the entire community. Yet, here at the codex, we TARGET THESE MEMBERS when it comes to responsibility for their actions instead of the entire community that they happen to have an account under.

Bethsoft did the exact opposite.

You, me, and anyone who listened to those podcasts know that there's nothing in those podcasts overreaching into the realm of inappropriateness. They criticize the game by giving clear and present reasons - which are rational and valid.

Bethsoft blacklisted the site as a PR manuever - to suppress criticism and negativity. That's a stupid move from both a marketing perspective and PR perspective, in my opinion, but Bethsoft has every right to do it.

Just don't pretend it's some sort of move to "shield the poor, young, helpless minds of the ESF teens from blatant 18+ mature content".

...And if you truly believe the STG community site contains "inappropriate content and discussion", show me, and I'll show you the exact same content and discussions from some of the other fansites listed under the bethsoft official page.

Post a link to DAC, which has 100x more adult content, and see what happens. Here is a hint - nothing. Why? Because DAC plays nice with Bethesda.

You can't really expect the admins to scan Oblivion or Bethesda related threads at Codex. That's what mods are for, scan & report to admin. So, the one to spot your Codex posts to pass on the information could just as well be Summer.

I was very impressed with the quality of questions posed by the ESF community. I was not aware there was anyone still there with enough brain cells to mange that. So, good on ya.

It is clear Todd has no fucking clue.

Bet you didn't think a game could get any more inane than Oblivion? Ha! You aint seen notin' yet. . . .

It's like they just swept any attempt at a story, or background lore, away and put in a bunch of kiddy jokes about Sheogorath. The whole expansion sounds like a bunch mindless unorganized crap content. I mean Madness Ore? Come on! Think of something at least semi-interesting. Oblivion may be dull generic fantasy, but at least there was some thought put into crafting a coherent world.

Wasn't the voice acting for Sheogorath in Oblivion done by Todd himself? That was the most annoying thing in the whole game for me. I believe Bethesda is really hurting by the loss of Ken Rolston. This expansion is Todd's baby, and we're about to see them go waaay downhill.

A valid excuse is not a valid reason. The reason is obviously you and the whole (non-existent) hive-mind of the Codex and your ranting against Obliovion.

And to post a link there, i'd first have to register. I'm actually too lazy to register for one post...

I'm not an expert on forum-management, but couldn't they close up part of the forum for under 16 year olds?
And if they didn't "want" that rating, they should have had less mutilated corpses hanging from walls
I'm sure the USK (German rating commission) missed those. Otherwise it would have gotten a mature rating.

If the podcasts would have limited themselves to giving constructive criticism about the game, and not more, then I don't think we would have been in this situation. Instead they also choose to use their podcasts to take personal shots at administrators, and moderators. They used loads of profanity and whatnot.

take for instance TESF, I don't think they've ever allowed people to link to sites which hold as much profanity as those podcasts. Nor have they ever allowed to link to movies which contain it. So going further along that why would the podcasts be any different.

Bethsoft did the exact opposite.

I see your point, but do not agree. While it might be the case that the admins at the STG say the disruptiveness is not affiliated by with the staff of the forums, they certainly did nothing to stop it.

They've had posts that had the following;
- Bashing of moderators
- Bashing of administrators
- advocating piracy
- threaths to get into some organised trolling of the official ST forums of Bethesda
- Harasssing atleast one of the moderators through his private email address.
- Accusations that Bethesda had hacked someone's emailbox.
- And that's not even mentioning all the swearing and namecalling that goes on there.
And much more.

While the admins of the STG might not agree with the sentiments of their members, they certainly never did anything to stop them.

And yes, before you start, I could provide links to all the above cases, I'm a bit pressed with time right now but if you'd really like to get the links from me, please mention it and I'll go dig at them tonight.

Again, those links I fear will have to wait untill tonight when I have a bit more time. And if other forums contain similar things, then for one thing I must have missed it all this time I went there, and second it would mean we'd have to re-evaluate linking to those peticular forums and such.

Probably a wise tactic, considering they are developing Fallout 3. OMG, let's go to Best. THread. Ever. and Troll Teh Oblibion Forums!

When we make content for any of the Elder Scrolls titles, we don’t concern ourselves with the rating.

Wait... What was with the nude mod controversy then?

Otherwise, can't prove he's lying Star... Yet.

Add: Roffles, he's so full of shit "Our standard of writing greatly improved".

15. Has your stance on a multiplayer TES game changed at all since the topic was last brought up? In other words, have you given the idea of an online TES game, or at the least a battle arena for pvp battles, any additional thought or is it still something you do not have any plans for?
My personal stance hasn’t changed, that it defocuses us from pushing the single player experience, but it’s certainly the #1 asked for feature by a landslide, so you never know.

Spare me.

It was as much of a mod as Hot Coffee was for GTA:SA - Bethesda had already hidden the nude models within the game files.

Just a quick Alexander, was it you who got my latest account banned on the TES forums?

I guess I'll have to watch what I post here, since it does seem that TES mods do post here.

One more thing Alexander and pass this along to that jerkoff Miltiades, the one who UNFAIRLY banned me the first time, and the rest of the mods. I'll continue to post on the TES forums no matter how many accounts they ban. I've gone one right now, just waiting to go.

Why you might ask? I continue to hold hope that the devs will finally listen to the complaints and realisze the mistakes they made. Also, I'm not going to give that jerkoff Miltiades the satisfaction of banning me. I'll leave when I'm ready, not when some moderator with a "Power Trip" decides to ban me for doing nothing but posting in a topic and giving my opinion.

Wow, and here I was thinking that they were blacklisted for trivial transgressions. I'm glad someone thought of the children.

I'd be very interested to see some of these links. I'm no regular poster at STG, but I have been a registered poster there for quite a long time. I have a sneaking suspicion your definition of "disruptive behavior" is based on isolated cases - limited to the few where the line is crossed.

The fact of the matter is this:

The STG community has been there through the releases of a lot of Star Trek games - the majority of which received heavy criticism from the very same community just like the one that criticized Star Trek Legacy. Yet, none of the other publishers or developers of those games has ever taken any action as drastic as black-listing the entire bank of consumers and potential consumers. This tells me that Bethesda, when it comes to receiving criticism and negativity from fan sites, chooses a more radical and less-tolerant method - something a publisher should try to avoid if it wants to NOT alienate potential future customers.

You should get it if you like Oblivion. TSI certainly is a beautifully crafted world but if you get tired of it you can go back to Cyrodil at any time and do the quests there.
