Skyrim VR is pretty incredible.

Just mod it a bit. It's really immersive. All forms of fighting feel great, and talking to NPCs is fun stuff. When SKSE works for the Special Edition maybe Enderal will be playable in VR, or Requiem. And Enderal is an amazing CRPG on its own, just like Nehrim before it (long live SureAI!).

Also note, you might get motion sickness at first before tweaking the settings in the options menu. You eventually get used to it and it goes away.

If you're just going to type Fuck off, retard. for every post then I'd rather you just keep your negativity to yourselves. This is a thread for Skyrim VR. Thank you.

Okay, once was enough, twice was kinda funny, but now this shit is getting ridiculous. I'm really getting pissed now. If you don't stop telling me to fuck off then I'm going to stop posting altogether about my thoughts on RPGs and stop sharing my vast experience with you all. By the way, this thread was supposed to be about Skyrim VR?

Gee, how original. Anyway, Skyrim VR puts you right there in the action. This current gen VR is actually really impressive. Kind of mind blowing actually. When I got to Bleak Falls I accidentally stepped out of my safe circle (the circle underneath you that keeps you centered in your real life room, it's like a marker, but mine was set in real life too close to my TV), I hit my TV hard when lunging for a bandit. Almost knocked a pixel or two out of it! But it's super fun and looks a bit better than I had played in 2011, so that's cool too. With mods it will really come to life. I can't knock Bethesda too hard for their efforts here. The game looks and feels great, and VR is the TRUTH. Believe it.

Any questions feel free to ask me.

No, go on, fluent, I honestly do want to hear your hot take on a seven year old game from the Codex's favorite franchise decliners.

Thank you, I will. Although I'll wait for questions if anyone has any. Before hand, yes spiders are creepy, yes dragons are huuuge and yes it's very immersive. If you have any specific questions I can answer. With a few mods to improve the RPG-ness it seems like it will be well worth playing (note I only tested it a bit so far, got out of Helgen and went to Bleak Falls Barrow).

The details in the environment are very easy to spot. You can easily loot things and notice right away what's worth it and what isn't. You'll also see details from the game you may have missed on your computer monitor. I've already been surprised several times at seeing new things. Magic is fun and so is archery, although you definitely have to learn to aim properly. All in all it's pretty mindblowing, it's actually good and VR in general is actually good, too. Hot takes? I dunno, but it's true. I suggest you guys check it out yourselves and draw your own conclusions.

Gaming in stereo on a large screen makes you feel high for a week or so, surely. It doesn't need helmets either, its because of some newfound neurological pathway or something. Theres a reason you dont see these kinds of texts everywhere, it wears off. And those commercial displays are really a compromise.

Its a mediocre game somehow elevated by being the only full sized rpg playable in VR. There really is not much to say about it otherwise.

And stop getting triggered like a little bitch fluent, your posts are like menstruating in a pool filled with hungry sharks.

The main reason you dont see many of those posts is because VR is still a niche market and most people dont want to pay 400 dollars for a new technology still making babysteps, but the market is picking up and i am pretty sure it is not just a fad that will go away.

I'm still waiting for Skyrim/Fallout 4 VR because Bethesda are being greedy bastards and I'm not gonna get shitty/boring games in the hope that they'll be more fun in VR and I'll stick any longer playing. Also not convinced Bethesda did a good enough port job, from what I've heard to warrant anywhere the asking price.

Should have been some cheap "DLC", not re-release.

Yeah, I have one. Why don't you fuck off? Retard. Pack up your NVIDIA® SHIELD™, Beamdog remasters, Skyrim and whatever other shit you've shilled for and go back to that cuckshed you call RPG Watch, you effeminate little bitch. You'll feel a lot better when you're among your beloved trannies, cuckolds and other pod people like yourself.

Didn't Perkel flood the forums with excited messages when he got his new VR set? I haven't heard anything in a while though.

They rather dont want to pay 400 bucks for steamco and facebook's boondoggle caricature of vr, that makes flatscreens look irreplaceable.

Does it work with porn mods?
