So is it legit not good? This is 100% a game I would blind buy back in the day because the premise is neat and the creator is a legend. Sounds like it may be actual shit tho. I just wanna double check to see if true

It has this weird time loop stuff like Siren and you've gotta replay levels to unlock stuff to progress but the game isn't really fun or interesting enough to make me want to actually replay any of these samey levels or closely follow a guide to avoid missing anything important so... I quit. :2.5/5:

I don't understand why a director would go from action-adventure to horror. Can only assume he didn't have options after Gravity Rush 2.

He did horror games before doing the Gravity Rush games. Although in video games, horror isn’t really a gameplay genre, and gameplay wise this looks like an action game.

I was quite interested in the game before release, but I refunded after playing like 2,5 hours. I'm all for supporting unique projects and this one is unique, but the execution just didn't cut it imo.

As i said in my previous post, the possession mechanic wasn't used in any interesting way outside of combat and for some reason there are even some generic stealth missions where, again, you are not allowed to do anything creative with the mechanic.

I have a feeling this Toyama guy just isn't a very good game director. Silent Hill was probably a fluke. Didn't play Siren so can't say anything about it, but Gravity Rush had shitty gameplay with boring missions.
